Fankoo

 At Bramble, the bed hugger

Sweet, be off to bed in case you nod off where you are, unless that is in bed

Yep just one tree. And the council did it Sweet

Nite nite, sleep well and have sweet dreams

Apologies for not "liking" and quoting posts, as my stupid iPad is still freezing.

Moonie, your tree looks very nice after its trim.

Summer, well done on getting your tree up. I'm sure it will look great once you have finished decorating it.

El, I'm glad your boiler is working properly again.

Off to bed now, goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.

Hugs for the night owls.

Nite nite Yogi, sleep well. Sweet dreams. Have a great weekend

Good morning everyone

At present it's sunny and cold here but forecast is to necome wet and windy.

Moonie, I would think that the council would swoop down on that shop.

Summer, will your tree look like this:

In the news that an Australian man has set a new world record of half a million lights on an artifical Christmas tree.

Yogi, I hope Apple get something done about your freezing problems as it's not good.

Good morning everyone.

It's pouring rain, up here.

What a lovely tree, but I wouldn't like to pay the electric bill!

El, the freezing problem seems worse at night, but perhaps I notice it more because I'm using the iPad for a longer period. Last night, I was getting so frustrated with it, I almost gave up.

Youngest and middle sons visiting today. Not sure who might stay for tea.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone, the weather is just awful and the forecast is for lots more of the same

That tree is very impressive EL but somehow I prefer the more traditional look, and I love the smell of a real pine tree

I do hope Apple come up with some patch to fix what is obviously a bug Yogi, it must be very frustrating.

Enjoy your day everyone

The discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb was and is famous.

But it's possible that there's a hidden chamber there which may be have discovered. News article on the BBC about this:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-34952947

The archaeolgist who found this thinks that the chamber may contain the remains of Queen Nefertiti.

His theory has yet to be peer-reviewed and leading Egyptologists have urged caution over the conclusion.

Squiggle, I also prefer traditional trees. Mine is dressed in red, gold and green colours And I like traditional style baubles.

If the problem gets worse when you are using it for a longer period it almost feels like a memory leak on a computer. On a computer the simplest thing is a reboot or clearing the browser cache.

I've cleared the cache and it seems to be running faster. Thanks El.

Good afternoon it started off lovely here this morning but is now colder & sleeting.

Aw I love red, gold & green too my tree is white, I can't decide whether to put gold, clear & white decorations on, or red & gold. I hope to get a green tree when they go on sale

That record breaking tree is amazing!

El, those pudding buns sound delicious! You could be our official M&S taster
~Sparkling Summer~

Good early evening everyone

Love those trees

Yogi, I hope you have had a lovely afternoon your youngest and middle sons

Any chance of a spare cake?

squiggle, we have some Christmas tree decorations that are very old. Silvered miniature instruments and metal bells that actually ring

El, you will have to get some of those buns for when your brother comes up again next

Sweet, I'm sure your tree will look lovely when it's got all it's baubles on. Piccie?

Have a great evening everyone

Evening I'm just heading to bed, I've had a lovely quiet evening hope everyone's had a good day

Of course I will take a pic of my tree when it's finished. I've been experimenting with poinsettias on it, but I'm not sure if they'll stay or go yet

Yogi, isn't strictly getting so close?! I've never known the competition be so tight at this stage
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone.

Still raining, although not as heavily.

So sorry I missed you last might, Summer. I didn't think anyone was here, so just hit post and went.

I agree with you about Strictly, it's very hard to call the winner.

Off to see my brother this morning as it's his birthday, then possible getting a PB visit in the afternoon.

Have a good day everyone.

Yogi, I'm glad you had visits from two of your "babies" yesterday. I hope your brother has a very happy birthday and that you get your visit from PB

Thanks El, and I hope you have a good day.

Thank you Yogi

Good morning everyone, very windy and rainy here.  I hope it's better where you all are but somehow I doubt it

I am glad you slept well Summer, I think poinsettias would look lovely on the tree but would be very difficult to achieve I think.

I hope your brother has a great birthday Yogi and that PB arrives later and you have a great visit.  Is she getting excited about Father Christmas yet?

Enjoy your day everyone

Morning everyone

Rain, gales and as dark as night here

Got the light on

Yogi, hope your visit to see your brother goes well and will look forward to hearing how your day with PB goes

I see the "big" babies came yesterday

El, have a good Sunday

Sweet, glad you had a good sleep. Have a great rest day

squiggle, I may be able to turn my light off today, probably just in time to turn it back on later

Have a good day

Back throughout the day

I decided not to post a picture of a tarantula as I realised that it would scare some people. But the research is about the fact that many of the species of tarantula are BLUE.

Some black colours are actually blue aren't they

I've braved the weather and been out for a windy walk, luckily we didn't get rained on but Bramble sure got muddy. Now we're showered, dried and getting cosy for the afternoon. I've painted my toe nails sparkly red, just in time for advent

Hi Sweet

You and Bramble are to have gone out in this weather

I see Bramble avoided the...well just got muddy

Nice to see you are both tucked up and getting cosy now. Sparkly red toe nails? Wouldn't suit me

Moonie

Summer I am glad you are back home warm and cosy, I bet even Bramble was pleased to get back in the dry.  Your toenails sound very Christmassy.

I've had lights on for most of the day as well moonie.  I was running my grandsons about earlier on today and surfers were actually on those extremely rough seas, braver than me certainly.

There's a bit about Chatsworth at Christmas on BBC, I wish I was close enough to go it looks magical.

They were making this year's wreath and Summer they were using dried oranges in theirs.
