Some of the decorations are up, we're still deciding how to do the rest

Glad your son is ok, he he have a day off today? Are you seeing PB tomorrow?

I'm sure th decs will look lovely.

yes, today was son's day off. He's coming up at the weekend to help hubby decorate the hall and stairs. Just some painting.

No PB tomorrow as DiL is off this week, but I'm going out for afternoon tea with them on Thursday.

Good morning everyone.

Weather is dreich!

El, I hope the meeting with your client goes well.

I'm looking forward to afternoon tea tomorrow with PB and DiL. PB makes me laugh so much, I wonder what little gem she will come out with.

Summer, you may remember we painted the hall a few years ago and I chose a pale green colour, which was darker than anticipated and everyone else hated!, so I'm lightening it up with Apple White, which only has a mere hint of green. It means I don't need to change my carpet or anything of my other green accessories.

Have a good day everyone.

Yogi, afternoon tea with PB tomorrow, something to look forward to

Another client meeting for me this morning, nothing complicated, just routine.

Hi El,

Good luck with the client

Moonie, those swans look like shamed exiles lol I love the leaves on the ground and the beautiful cygnets colours too

What are everyone's plans today?

El, I hope your meeting is smooth & straightforward

Hi Sweet

Thought you had churchilled last night. Not a problem

It made me laugh how the one swan walked around the rubbish bin but the other one didn't

i'll post a cygnet video I did yesterday, later

Hope you all well. Have a good day

Good morning Skylark

Good to see you around again. Family is much more important than forum

You take care and see you soon

Moonie

Good morning everyone, just bleeuh describes my weather to a tee I think, it's definitely not dreich nor is it pleasant.

That sounds the perfect colour for your hall Yogi   Summer that's a good description of those swan bullies, the bird world is a tough old world.

I hope life is treating you well Skylark.  Sounds like a real treat on Thursday afternoon tea + PB, you will have a great time I am sure.

Fascinating to watch opposite me on the other side of the valley.  There is a house directly opposite mine, halfway down the valley like me and I think it's recently changed hands.  They are actually making a garden out of the hillside below the house, they have a digger and a dump truck there now cutting terraces.  I am sure I shall find it interesting to see it take shape.

Enjoy your day everyone

Back from that client. Parents in law are elderly, in poor health, and in and out of hospital. I said to my client that I was thinking of them, not that I know them as such but the father in law used to be the church hall caretaker many many years ago in the days I was treasurer and wrote out cheques to him. An unusual surname which is why I remembered his name.

Skylark, I'm glad all is well

Moonie, I'm glad about the swans

Summer, I'm glad you had a refreshing night's sleep

Yogi, I think apple white is supposed to be the colour of the flesh of an apple so just a hint of green as you say,

Squiggle, it will be interesting to watch the development of that garden. A terraced approach seems logical being on a hillside. The result could be quite spectacular.

Aw what a lovely video moonie, thank you they look peaceful and graceful today

I've just got back from a lovely walk, it's a glorious day here. I came back loaded up with wreath supplies too unfortunately, bramble came home caked in fox poop so I've had to pop her in the shower to shampoo it all off.

Skylark, we have missed you, I'm glad your absence is a positive one

Fankoo Sweet

Glad you enjoyed your walk with Bramble, though I would agree about the fox poop

On the upside, Bramble will be smelling lovely now

Moonie

Squiggle, it will be good to watch that garden develop and grow.

Moonie, I love the swan video.

lol El, that singing is as bad as Mr Yogi's!

Skylark, good to see you here. Glad all is well.

Summer, you have my sympathy re the fox poo. Our first golden retriever used to rub her neck in cow dung! Thankfully, Keira doesn't do it.

Hi Yogi

Did PB come today?

Fankooo, glad you liked the swans

Cow dung?

Probably worse than fox poop

Keira is a sensible lady

Aww no need Squiggle

I had asked for an upper case "M" because everyone seems to write it that way. Lori was having a technical problem with the change so said to her "okay please leave it then."

The she sent me a message on my birthday saying she had managed to do it and I never even noticed

So you are not alone in not noticing
