What have you been up to that's made you sore? And do we need DR. PB to examine you..?

I'll have a look in there.

I've been clearing out our small bedroom which houses PB's toys, books, dvds etc

I was bending over the big toy chest for ages and I think that's why my back is aching.

lol No!  Remember the way she whanged the dolls into the hospital/tent?!

Did you get everything done that you were aiming for?

I've had a nice bath and hubby has promised to rub on some Voltarol after IAC is finished.

Yes, we got it finished, thank goodness. PB has taken over both of my spare rooms!

What are you doing this weekend?

Absolutely, she has stolen everyone's hearts.

Son and DiL say they have no idea where they are going to put the gifts she'll get for Christmas as their house is already bursting at the seams!

I think we're going out for tea with middle son and DiL tomorrow, then hubby and eldest are going out to a market on Sunday, and I'll have PB for a few hours. DiL has got something else planned.

Do you have any plans?

Good morning everyone, like you it's sunny here but extremely cold, you can tell the wind is blowing straight down from the Arctic.

Well done Yogi on getting the toys all sorted and have a great day today with PB and family.

How's all the crafting going Summer?  I bet your Christmas jumpers put all your customers in a festive mood.

Enjoy your day everyone

Fingers crossed you get a visit very soon.

I can totally understand the cushion thing and I sympathise. I use varying number of cushions and even pillows (and/or hot water bottle) depending on how much my back aches.

Yogi, I'm glad your back is feeling a bit better today

Squiggle, I hope your back pain eases and that you get a visit from the baby

Just had a lengthy phone call from the person I deal with at the huge client about dividends.

Turned my computer on this morning and found that I had no sound from the speakers. Checked leads to make sure that they weren't loose. I set up the old speakers (which are of poor quality) and they worked so I realised it was the new speakers rather than the computer. I use a Belkin 6 socket surge protector so I tried a different socket and the sound came back. I put the plug back in the previosu socket and it still worked. Don't know why this sorted out the problem but the sound is back

I remember when my nephew and niece where young. She used to take loads of so called "unwanted" toys to school for the school  "jumble sale."

My nephew used to go and buy all his back

Good morning everyone.

Weather is dry, bright and cold.

Re the link, this country has lost the plot! The next thing you know we'll be banning adverts for meat, in case it offends vegetarians!

Good afternoon bright with showery intervals here, the cold snap continues but feels delightfully festive.

I had a bit of a nightmare last night; I got home from work and as I attempted to top up my gas meter, the meter died! I had no idea that pre pay meters have batteries in that can die in cold weather.
My Sherlock impression led me to discover that the national grid owns the meter, they came to fix it within 2 hours! I had been quoted 4 hours, so I was pleased. With snow on the ground and no heating & hot water, I wrapped myself up like a ridiculous Eskimo and lit about 100 candles to generate some heat. After that I didn't even feel like watching strictly, so I went to bed early.

This morning I've been out for a lovely walk and popped to the shops for some craft supplies

How are we all?

El, I think I could easily wrack up some walking bit currency

Summer, I had no idea that some gas meters have batteries. Good job they answered your callout quickly, as nobody wants to be without heat and hot water in this weather.

I've had a PB day. She's just gone home after tea.

She wanted to stay on a sleepover.

 Hi sleepy Moonie.

As ever, PB was on great form.

She was watching Happy Feet and copied the dancing. She said, "I'm good at penguin dancing!"
