Good afternoon
bright with showery intervals here, the cold snap continues but feels delightfully festive.
I had a bit of a nightmare last night; I got home from work and as I attempted to top up my gas meter, the meter died! I had no idea that pre pay meters have batteries in that can die in cold weather.
My Sherlock impression led me to discover that the national grid owns the meter, they came to fix it within 2 hours! I had been quoted 4 hours, so I was pleased. With snow on the ground and no heating & hot water, I wrapped myself up like a ridiculous Eskimo and lit about 100 candles to generate some heat. After that I didn't even feel like watching strictly, so I went to bed early.
This morning I've been out for a lovely walk and popped to the shops for some craft supplies
How are we all?
El, I think I could easily wrack up some walking bit currency
