Hope tomorrow goes well btw

I'm good thank you, yoga was challenging but I feel great, and I'm in a festive mood because I discovered the smooth Xmas radio station has started

All sorted. We had a washing machine and an iron and iron board, so I didn't have as much to catch up on as I usually have.

Thanks, I'll let you know.

Do they only play Christmas songs on the Smooth Xmas station - or is that a daft question?

Mr Yogi likes Smooth radio, but I'm more of a Capital 1 listener.

Really?! That does surprise me lol
We usually listen to capital at work, I sometimes love it and sometimes hate it. I'm really ashamed to admit that I really like *gulp* Justin Beiber's new music
Yes it's purely Christmas songs, I would prefer more rat pack & buble than slade etc, but it was still fun

Ooh yeah hats handy then, I'm pleased you're not swamped with laundry.
What's the PB itinerary for tomorrow?

Haha, don't turn into a belieber!

oh, I love, love, love the BublÃĐ man!

Hubby has decided to make a Christmas cake this year (as he has more time on his hands), so we are off to get all the ingredients. PB likes going shopping as she  cons Granny into buying things for her. No doubt she'll have her own list.

Good morning everyone

Breezy here but not like it was yesterday evening with frequent gusts around 50 mph. Forecast to have lots of heavy showers or rain for much of the day.

Yogi, I hope all goes at the consultant, that you have a good time with PB, and that the Christmas cake is a success

Summer, I see you've been changed

El Loro
Good morning not much storm activity here last night, I hope the rest of you were warm, dry and had no damage by the wind

Yes El, I paid my Lori-Godmother a visit last night and she magically transformed me I do love the festive season

Squiggle, hope all goes smoothly at the dentist.

Yogi, good luck at your check up, and have a lovely day with PB. I can't wait to hear all about the cake baking already
~Sparkling Summer~

I was scheduled to see a client tomorrow morning. As he uses a cloud accounting system I accessed that and saw that it was a mess with nearly 500 bank transactions not dealt with. It would be a waste of my time so I rang him. He said he was aware of this and had intended to ring me today to postpone our meeting. Meeting rescheduled for the end of the month.

El Loro

Morning peeps of Buddieland

Breezy here too El and raining now, though I did manage to dry a line of washing in the gale that preceded the breeze and rain

Squiggle, I hope the dentists appointment goes well

Wonderland, I mean Sweet, love the new name. It's definitely you

No loss of power in this part of the Midlands, I am glad to say

*feels this could be tempting fate*

Yogi, I hope your check up goes well and you have a lovely day with PB

I look forward to hearing and maybe seeing  the results of PB's, I mean Mr Yogi's cake

Have a great day and stay safe friends

500?

Rather you than me El

Moonie

I have one of those exciting courses to go to this afternoon. This one is about the changes in charity accounts. As I do the independent examination of a few charities, this is quite an important course for me. There have been changes which take effect for accounts starting on 1 January 2015 so any with year ends of 31 December 2015 onwards. Although it's the charities responsibility to make sure that their accounts comply, ss you can imagine, it's often the independent examiner who is heavily involved.

(I don't think the changes affect small charities which do accounts on a receipts and payments basis)

El Loro

I hope all goes well on the course this afternoon EL.  I have a clean bill of health from the dentist, he tells me my gums are like some one in their early 30's! nice to know.

The forecast was for the winds to die down, well not when I came home they weren't it was horrible when I got home, blew me down the drive and rained all over me, glad to be home and dry.

squiggle
Aw squiggle I'm glad you're now inside, safe and dry. Wonderful news about your gums!
How are you liking your car these days?

Moonie good to see you! I'm glad you & your laundry beat the wind & rain.
Are you cosy & warm this evening?

El, I hope the course is useful, and I don't blame you for putting off that client for a month, I hope those bank statements are in better order when you meet.

I've been a busy bee today; I've cleared out my spare room and rearranged 2 cupboards! Then, I went foraging in the woods and have just had a hot shower & washed my hair this evening should be more relaxed

I don't remember everything that I've been told at courses but we get course notes to take away so that we can refer to them at a later date. I also have quite a lot of technical books.

It's not a case of knowing everything, but where to look for it.

Hmmmmm El, I still think...prods El...opps, definitely human

I am loving the car, my lovely grandson did my tyre pressures today - after he had taken my very heavy bags into the drop-off place.

Was your foraging successful?  Pine cones etc and holly etc. I presume?
