Hi Skylark I hope you are managing to keep warm and dry
Brockworth, just outside Gloucester, seems to be a focal point for unusual sporting events. There's the world famous cheese rolling down Cooper's Hill. And now this:

Evening all.
Apologies for not popping in this morning but it's been a very busy day.
Summer, the holiday was brilliant. Lovely weather, delicious food and very relaxing.
El, that dessert sounds gorgeous.
Squiggle and Skylark, hope all is well with you.
lol Velvet, we saw no end of stuffed camels.
Ros, I thought IAC got off to a good start.
Great to have you back Yogi
You picked a fine time to dodge the weather
Thanks Velvet.
My sons and neighbours have been telling me how awful the weather was. Not that it's good today!
Good to have you back yogi I'm pleased you had a fab time

Good morning everyone
Cloudy and breezy here at present. Barney arrives here during the afternoon and is around this evening before going. I won't be needing to go out during that time.
I hope everyone has a good day
Velvet you are worth having if you can successfully gift wrap yourself!
Good morning everyone.
Weather is cloudy and gloomy.
Out and about this morning.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone, a blanket of grey this morning, breezy at the moment but nothing like it's going to be this afternoon. I hope there will be no loss of life because the winds predicted sound pretty scary.
I have just finished packing two H U G E bags for the homeless which I will drop off tomorrow. I only mention this because I know what a caring group we are and I wondered if there was a similar scheme in your areas. It is going great guns down here, it was started by a young girl in her twenties and has taken off like a rocket. I have done one bag for a man and one for a woman and have included everything on this list, many jumpers scarves etc, managed to include a coat in each one and a very good waterproof that used to belong to my hubby.
Enjoy your day everyone
Hi everyone
I have not been feeling well for a while, which is why I have not been around. I don't know when I will be back tbh. Hope all is well in the world of you my friends
Yogi, glad you're back safe and sound and that you enjoyed your holibobs
Sweet, I look forward to hearing about your snowdogs
Piccies?
Peace and happiness to you all
Squiggle, my local church has been having annual Shoebox appeals for many years. It is different to the one you mention as it's for children around the world, though for our church for Romania in particular. It was as a result of the plight of orphans there which became international news back in 1990. A couple of people from our church went there for 6 months to aid in helping them.
An identical concept to your appeal, bur for a different cause.
Moonie, I hope you feel better soon and will be able to rejoin us. You have been missed
Nice to see you again moonie, so sorry to hear you've not been feeling well I hope you feel better soon.
Isn't this so clever?
Interesting video squiggle . My parents had an armchair which could convert into a bed, which is a similar idea but not as advanced as the ones in your clip.
Alma Deutscher - BBC clip of this 10 year old may get shown on the news.

The most famous musical prodigy was Mozart. He had composed 5 symphonies by her age and a lot more other work compared to her but all the same she's quite remarkable.
It's just started raining here, I'm at yoga tonight so hoping the weather is OK to drive in.
Moonie! I thought you might be unwell, I hope you soon feel better again. Keep your chin up because every rubbish day that goes by, is just another closer to a better day
You know your owl trail.. Well, we are getting a trail of snowdogs next autumn/winter! I'm so excited, 2016 is going to be a great Christmas, I can feel it in my bones
Some surprising statistics.
If all the groundwater in the top 2km of the Earth's surface was all on the top of the surface, that would be 180m deep.
Of that groundwater only 6% is usable by people.

Moonie, I hope you feel better soon.
Evening Velvet, how are you diddlin'?
I'm no bad ta Glass half full and aw that. Fine line at times.
How's things with you? Is it a PB day tomorrow?
Half full is much better than empty, so that's good.
Yes, she is coming tomorrow. Son brought her up on Monday afternoon as we hadn't seen her for almost 2 weeks. She had us in stitches with her antics - she made Grandad sit on the naughty step.
That's good Yogi
Are you still getting the injections or has that passed?
If I continue to do well on them, I'll be having the injections for at least a year and then they'll review things.
Sorry Yogi
Bit intrusive.
But everything crossed they do the trick
Not at all, Velvet.
I'm seeing the consultant tomorrow, so hopefully my blood results are good too.
Hubby is going to have to entertain PB while I'm in with the doctor.
You know. I don't have kids and I kinda envy you at this stage
All the best tomorrow
Thank you, I'll let you know how I get on.
How is the boss doing?
No bad ta
That's really good to hear.
Evening Summer.
My day has been fine, how was yours?
Hope tomorrow goes well btw
I'm good thank you, yoga was challenging but I feel great, and I'm in a festive mood because I discovered the smooth Xmas radio station has started
