Not unless someone invents something like a tachyon transmitting device. Then such a device would have to transmit a replica of itself with the droid and the camera so that the camera could return here with the photographs. Apart from this being science fiction at this time, such a concept would work, Another method is using portals as in things like Stargate. The problem there is that it requires there to be a wormhole in existence between here and the destination. Even if that concept was workable, the likelyhood of such a wormhole is near-nonexistent so the tachyon transmitting device is more possible. There's just one tiny problem though, Tachyons (which are particles which travel faster than the speed of light) are at this time theoretical and not yet proven.

Good morning everyone.

Sorry you are all having such rotten weather.  I'll be back on Sunday night to suffer along with you.

I've enjoyed the sun and heat out here but, due to my meds, I've had to slap on Factor 50 and I'm still milk bottle white.

Keep my seat warm in the Buddies as I'll soon be back with you.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone

Very cloudy and windy here but may stay dry. It may be getting colder by next weekend for a week or so. May be frosty and snow on higher ground further north.

Summer, the pudding didn't come with any custard. The figs are juicy in the pudding in a sort of syrup. I'm sure people would have custard with it but it's quite filling as it is.

Thanks everyone , I'm having a pleasant weekend with my brother

As squiggle says it was a wild and windy night here as well. No damage here though some small branches had come off trees in the roads but nothing significant.

I've dropped my brother off at the station. The pudding we had was another new M&S one. A sponge with pineapple and ginger and this one came with some custard to pour over. Very nice and one to try provided you like pineapple and ginger.

The service at church this morning was of course strongly influenced by what happened in Paris. A cross covered with poppies made by children from local schools had been made for Remembrance Sunday last week and that was retained for the service. Candles were lit during the service and the congregation were invited to light a small candle at the devotional candle stand when they took communion.

The vicar's address ended with this quote from Martin Luther King.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”

Good morning everyone

Weather OK here, breezy, some blue sky and clouds. Forecast to be rain tonight and damp tomorrow.

My brother got back to London on time. He's going to see a friend in the Greater Manchester area today for a few days. Hopefully there won't be much travel disruption due to the flooding in NW England.

Yogi, welcome back wanderer

Good morning everyone, I am glad your brother got home safely EL and I hope he will be able to travel without problems today.

Nice to have you back with us Yogi, I am glad your holiday was a good one

I am not keen on ginger although I do love pineapple so I don't think that dessert would be for me.

Enjoy your day everyone
