I see that Marks & Spencer have a new range of puddings for two people and may give them a try when my brother visits me next (hopefully next weekend).

Sounds like a plan El

Good morning everyone, it's pretty wild down here too.  Like you moonie they say it will brighten up this afternoon, I won't hold my breath.

Hi velvet, I'm well thank you Nice motor pirate   Ha ha EL I think I would be too busy running off in the opposite direction to measure Bigfoot's feet

Enjoy your weekend everyone - I liked the contrast in this picture

Hope you all keep warm & dry today

What are your options for the puddings, El?

I will look out for that new show then, it sounds like it could be really good

Moonie, did you sleep well?

Moonie, I did- I woke in the exact same position that I fell asleep in! I woke up wanting to have an early night all over again though
What sport has you excited today?

 Sleepy head

Currently I am watching footie, snooker and the occasional one day cricket game.

How's work going today?

I wanted to post some beautiful poppies but photobucket is refusing to cooperate today, so here's an angel instead ---> thank you to those who gave their lives to keep us safe & free

indeed Summer, we must never forget.

Good morning everyone.

Sitting on the patio having a cup of tea. Sun is shining with a nice breeze blowing.

Planning on having a very lazy day.

Have a good day everyone, catch up later.

Good morning everyone, very very windy here now but no rain (I hope) until later on this afternoon.

Forgive me moonie but I had to giggle at the thought of you hyperventilating at the thought of not being registered on the forum

A lovely photo of the poppy EL - this to go with it

In Flanders Fields

by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning everyone, it's incredibly windy here - it's ripped a plant cover off a precious plant and deposited it in another part of the garden.  I was very lucky it didn't blow the other way never to be seen again

My grandfather's ship was sunk in the First World War and he was killed.  I believe his name is on the War Memorial in Milford Haven.

Did you know they use Mustard Gas as one of the ingredients in chemo EL?  I know because it was part of the make-up of mine

Enjoy your day everyone
