Good morning everyone, the forecast is for rain today and much more rain tomorrow.

I hope your visitors have a lovely time Summer exploring the area and meeting up for lunch.

Hope all goes well with all you have to do today Yogi - I am sure you miss Little Miss Chatterbox when she goes home.  How is the bathroom looking and did PB like it?

Off out in a bit trying to dodge the rain

Enjoy your day everyone

Morning Squiggle.

Yes, PB gave the bathroom her seal of approval, and she particularly liked the new bath. However, she did tell me that my toilet roll holder looks like a metal detector.

Morning Buddies

Though not that bright here yet, its definitely looking better than yesterday already

Yogi, really pleased you had such a good time with PB. Did she help the tilers?

Was she satisfied with the results?

Sweet, I hope you have a lovely day with your visitors

Did Bramble act as your doggy warmer again last night?

El, hope you manage to stay dry today, the weather I mean

Did you finish that mahoosive accounting job yet?

Squiggle, good luck with the rain dodging though I think it will be a futile attempt

Love that piccie

Off out to the bank and shopping as soon as I can get myself into gear

I am amazed that she even knows what a metal detector looks like!  She is such a funny little sweetie

Well done Squiggle. Excellent dodging

Nah, not luck just sheer skill

It'a been known for ages that the threshold for prosecuting sppeding drivers has been based at 10% above the speed limit. The Association of Police Officers' guidelines say at 10% + 2mph so for 40mph that's 40 + 4 + 2 =46. It seems that it's not applied consistently across the country and it can vary between 46 and 49mph.

I would hope that on say a 20mph stretch of road going past a school that the tolerance would be a lot lower. Having said that, the road which goes past my church and an infants school is a 20 mph road with some speed humps and although I never go over 20 mph there, I know that most drivers do as I see them getting further away from me if they are in front and getting closer to me if they are behind.

El Loro

Squiggle, she never ceases to amaze me with some of the things she says. Only recently, she told us she wanted a pink telescope for Christmas, so she could look at the moon and stars. Son and DiL are quite pleased she has gone off that idea, as a pink telescope was proving difficult to find.

Off on my holibobs in the morning and I still have to colour my hair, so goodnight and sweet dreams everyone. We are supposed to have free wifi where we are going but (from previous experience in Lanzarote) it might be erratic. Hope to pop in when I can.

Hi Yogi

I hope you have a lovely relaxing holibob. Take care and safe journey

Moonie

Good morning everyone, huge menacing clouds and very high winds here so something tells me I am not going to be able to dodge the rain today quite so successfully as I did yesterday Never mind I have my trusty brolly to hand

Sounds like a lovely evening Summer, did they put a 'do not open until December 25th' sticker on your pressies?

Have a great time Yogi!

Enjoy your day everyone

I had heard that as well. I don't know if he lived in my area or not. He went to Bristol Grammar School and although he was played for Gloucestershire cricket team for some years, the team is based in Bristol rather than Gloucester. There is talk of the team being branded Bristol for the T20 matches in future.
