Off to iron to relieve the boredom.

Could think of better ways of relieving the boredom Yogi

 Me too!

It arrived an hour ago, Moonie. The delivery people were absolutely lovely though, so I forgave them.

I think the IOS9 update kicked off the problems with the iPad. Or maybe it's just overworked.

My sister as always is well when moaning. Enough said

Bless her

I had that update too and it seems that everything is a little slower especially on messenger

It's driving me nuts. However, it hasn't been so bad since I closed it down and opened it up again.

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone's computers and iPads behave themselves today.  We had a brief power cut yesterday afternoon - mucked up a film I was taping, hope it's OK - and that seemed to make my router play up for about an hour, or maybe someone had hit a cable but it's very frustrating so I can certainly sympathise.

I think I will have to dig out my Christmas card box and get writing a few in the next few days, I am already thinking about gifts for the little ones.

Enjoy your day everyone

By the way everyone, thinking about posting Christmas cards, don't bother with first class stamps for December, certainly not for cards.  My hubby used to work in the Post Office and the word was all post tends to go second class during the Christmas rush.  Might be worth knowing, I only use second class stamps then anyway although I use first class for the rest of the year.  If it helps to keep the cost down it all helps - as Tesco says

Got a letter from HMRC this morning concerning a client. They are challenging the figures on his tax return for salary and pension. Looking at the figures they put I think I can see what has happened. I got in touch with my client and sent him an email. Assuming HMRC are right and I think they are it's going to cost him and it's not the type of news anyone wants whilst they are on holiday (he's in Tenerife and back next weekend).

The errors relate to the year to 5 April 2014 and I wasn't his agent then - he did the return himself. If I had made the mistakes he seems to have made I could get reported by HMRC to my institute for incompetence.

Oh dear. What a pity he didn't come to you last year.

Good morning it's a beautiful sunny day here sorry I didn't get on here yesterday, my day was busy from start to finish and I fell asleep on the sofa as soon as I sat down.

Happy November everyone!
Christmas24 the movie channel starts today

Yogi, good luck today, I hope all goes smoothly and looks beautiful when they're finished

El, thank goodness the error has been spotted now, and that he has you prepare the return for him these days.
I think I could probably do my return myself, but I prefer to let my accountant do it just in case I do make any mistakes
