You are so right Brisket.  This is a happy, friendly thread where EVERYONE who is like minded is invited to contribute.

Probably won't be back again tonight as hubby is on his way home.  Will catch up with you all tomorrow.  Love to everyone.

Hello Yogi    It did indeed on this occsion.

Although I don't post here very much I do like to visit you because it is always, warm, friendly, comfortable, and people show concern for each other   - therefore it makes me feel good.
You are always welcome in here, Brisket.
Joyron, goodnight for now, see you tomorrow.

El, I don't know why you posted that clip from The Magic Flute, and I don't want to expose my ignorance by guessing.

Just popped in before hubby gets home.  I really love that word "blether".  I continue to blether on with all my lovely friends in this thread.  Speak again tomorrow.  Love you all.
Blether is a good word, Joyron - and I love a good blether, too. See you tomorrow.

Good morning everyone

Well done on the defrag, Skylark

In case you are wondering why I posted the clip showing Papageno's and Papagena's duet from The Magic Flute, the reason is as follows. Their names are a play on words - the German for parrot is papagei (The Magic Flute is in German). This is why their costumes are so feathery and colourful.

Thank you El, I was driving myself mad trying to figure it out. I did wonder if it was something to do with the costumes, but that was as close as I got.

Good morning everyone.    It was very grey when I woke up but the sun is shining at last

What a wonderful picture today Squiggle.  It certainly made me smile.  Yogi, I hope you enjoy your visit to the garden centre.  My hubby does the same as your's and springs days off on me without prior notice!!

Have a good day everyone, whatever you get up to.

The problem is worryingly widespread EL we've got it down here too!
And now there's something bright in the sky, it looks like a big circle, sort of yellowish - I may have to draw the curtains in case it comes after me.

We haven't got that yet EL but thanks for the warning, grabs pitchfork and looks round nervously

Are you sure?  It was very very frightening

Joyron I hate to hear you don't feel part of this thread/forum   We are all your friends and you have said in the past that you like to feel part of this thread so please try and at least pop in and say hello, I am sure we would all say the same

Just the same here, good morning everyone (especially Joyron ) hope it brightens for you later El Loro , hi Yogi .  I know you won't want to miss out on another bit of my scintillating lifestyle so I just thought I would mention that I have put the bin bags out

Good morning everyone.    It's grey and miserable here at the moment but there is a small chance we might get some sunshine later.

Squiggle and El Loro you certainly do lead exciting lives.  I really envy you!!

I'm pleased to say I'm feeling a little brighter today.  Had a little "rant" with Yogi last night, through PMs, and things don't seem quite so bad this morning.

Morning Squiggle, in a wee while, I am off to do the weekly grocery shopping and dropping off a couple of bin bags at the tip - thrilling stuff!
