PB sounds such a happy sweet soul

Perhaps they will be able to sort the posting problems out now that they have a bit more information, here's hoping.

Enjoy your day everyone

She is a happy wee soul. The only time she gets a little bit cranky is when she is tired.

The winning photo of the Birds section of the Wildlife Photographer of the year:

Amir Ben-Dov (Israel) is the "Birds" category winner. He spent five days shooting these red-footed falcons. This image came from the last five minutes on the fifth day.

the overall winning photo is gruesome so I won't post it. You can see it on this link but it's really unpleasant.

That's a great pic.

I didn't like the fox pic or the "broken cats" one.

How are you getting on with your "marathon" client El?

I'm about half way through. Gone through the boxes of accounting records. i'm hoping to have done the majority of the work by mid November (I'm not working on that client the whole time as I have other clients work to do) and have a end date of end of November in mind.

Good morning everyone, a few white clouds but I think the forecast is dry, much colder though.

I wonder what adventures you will have with the wee one today Yogi, it will soon be time to write to Father Christmas, I wonder what will be on the list.

I must go in search of noisy books for the little one in our family, he has a sit-in walker now so he whizzes about looking for things to grab (and put in his mouth ) Noisy books were very popular when his Dad and Uncle were small I recall.

Enjoy your day everyone

And I'm back. I've been to junior school this morning. Had to walk some distance as the infants school had been having a service at their local church (not mine) with their parents who had parked their cars in the locality,

(I do the independent examination of the school's unofficial funds so was collecting the accounting records)

Summer, a mix of radio 4 and 5.

Tend to have cricket on when there's a match, or tennis, or some football (though more liekly if Chelenham Town's match is being broadcast),

On radio 4 just now they had a programme about time travel in science and cinema. They mentioned a film called La JetÃĐe. It's a French 1962 short film (28 minutes). Black and white and essentially a series of still photographs. Powerful but very bleak and of more interest to those who like foreign arthouse cinema rather than mainstream cinema,

https://vimeo.com/46620661

if any of you are interested though it scores zero for entertainment. Pointless watching it unless you see it right to the end.
