As I haven't experienced the problem I can't go into any specific detail but it's worth looking at that thread for any feedback and also post more info if you experience the problem again.

Apart from bobbing for apples on October 31st when I was very young, I've never been involved with Halloween so can't say anything about decorating.

With the news that the first Bewick swan has arrived at Slimbridge, the earliest on record since records there were kept, there is specuation that we are in for the worst winter since 1962/63.

Met Office article about this today:

They don't rule it out but at the end of the article they say "At this stage it is too early to speculate what weather this winter may bring to the UK."
