Well, pay rent, shop and little else

How about you Yogi, any chance of a PB visit?

I need to go buy some moisturiser. I used to buy it online but now Boots stock it, so a trip to a nearby shopping centre is needed.

I'm minding PB three days this week, as her other grandmother is poorly with a chest infection. So she'll be with me on Tursday, then on Thursday and staying overnight.

My forumming time will be seriously curtailed.

Thanks Moonie. From what DiL said, her mum has got quite a nasty infection.

Yes, some right nasty bugs doing the rounds. Have you had your flu jab this year?

Nope, don't have flu jabs now. I had one one year and had a bad cold/flu for several months after. So that did it for me

Good morning everyone, quite a nice morning here I hope it is where you all are too.

These posting problems often seem to occur in the evening, is it due to the increased traffic on Gaga when our American cousins are active on other forums do you think EL?

On Saturday I watched Summertime with Katherine Hepburn from that new movie channel that EL was telling us about.  It is featured regularly on there and is on again this afternoon.  I absolutely loved it and warmly recommend it for all fans of romance and Italy, it is set in Venice, lovely lovely film.  The theme tune is haunting me.

Do you have a particular favourite in moisturisers Yogi? I like L'Oreal or Garner.

Enjoy your day everyone

Squiggle, that is a lovely picture

I've recorded Summertime but haven't seen it yet.

I've just had a look at the Talking Pictures TV schedule for this week and seen that there's also the 1938 version of Pygmalion this morning at 11.20. That's the version with Leslie Howard and Wendy Hiller. That's based on Shaw's play, and not the musical version My Fair Lady.

I like Liz Earle's Skin Repair moisturiser.

Unfortunately, I don't have a recording facility in the spare bedrooms (where the Freeview boxes are) so I can't record films from that channel.

I hope Virgin hurries up and adds it to their film package, then I can record on the V+ or Tivo boxes.

That's very odd Yogi, I can't get Freeview here so Sky is really the only option for me, too many hills, too many trees and the signal from Wales drowns out anything anyway.  One of my friends only has Freeview and has to watch the Welsh news not the local SW news.  I lost track of the point I was making so I am editing to add that the channel is on Sky so surely it must come on Virgin soon.

I haven't heard of that moisturiser, I'll check it out.

Sounds like the way to go EL, I am very hopeful of what they might have to offer and since the channel is not covered in my TV magazine I have bookmarked their site which gives the schedule.

That's what I've done too.

You have no idea how many times I've done that.

Yes, hopefully it will soon be on Virgin.

I'm glad your journey home was a smooth one.

As much as it's lovely to get away for a while, it's always great to get home.

I bet Bramble was pleased to see you?
