Good morning we're sitting out a heavy rainstorm here! It's fabulous to watch and there's been a bit of thunder.

Thanks for that link El, I'm really surprised they were done with a sharpie, I thought they'd been painted. It makes sense they used faux pumpkins because they get to keep their work

Yogi I hope you and PB have a lovely day

What are the rest of you up to?

I'm glad you've got a birthday party to go to, to make up for the weather today

I do take a proper lunch break. The days of a sandwich in the office whilst working are long gone for me.

Cloudy dry weather here. There is a slight mist but nothing like yesterday morning's fog.

Summer, I hope the weather for you is better than yesterday and that you enjoyed that birthday party.

Yogi, I watched NCIS New Orleans, then NCIS on Channel 5. NCIS Los Angeles is a repeat.

I never watched any of the NCIS series, El.

Good morning everyone.

Weather is cloudy atm.

I have no specific plans for today, I'll just take it as it comes.

Have a good day everyone.

My dad loves it, El.

I don't know why I never got into it.

Good morning haha thank you all, I only had one glass of wine but one of my sisters had almost 3 bottles so I had to make sure she got to bed safely. The food was delicious but the singer had his amp far too loud for my liking, we couldn't talk to anyone!
It's very sunny here today so we're going to make the most of it.

Yogi, what is pb's latest antics?

Squiggle, how are you? And how's mr badger?

Moonie, I hope the sport is good today, enjoy

Hope everyone has a good day

One of my clients mentioned to me a few days ago about someone he knew who always wore trainers. He has one colour on one foot and another one on the other. Rather than buying two pairs and discarding half each pair he buys them from a shop in London which specialises in footwear for service personnel who have lost a leg.

Good morning everyone, lots of grey cloud today, no rain but definitely a little chilly.

I am well thank you Summer, I am glad you are enjoying your holiday.  Blocking up the holes in the fence seems to have worked so far so no more visits from Mr. Badger although I can see from my upstairs window that he has been a regular visitor to next door and has left their lawn in a bit of a mess. My lawn is slowly recovering but he certainly went to town while he was here.

Thanks moonie, I hope your day is full of all the good things you like.

Enjoy your day everyone

Recent news that netgear routers can be hacked and settings changed. Antiviral s/w won't necessarily pick this up. Virgin Media's super hub is a netgear though it's not known at this time if the super hub is affected.

There are two passwords for the superhub, one just to get access to the superhub settings (the default password is "changeme") and the other is related to wifi.

At this time it's best to chenge the "changeme" password if you've never changed it. In browser bar type 192.168.100.1 to get to the log in screen for your superhub. Type in "changeme" at the sign in box (assuming you've never changed it). At the resulting screen, the first button is for wifi, the second on is for the router settings which is the one to choose, and the third button just shows usage statistics. At the resulting screen, you see two boxes where you type in your new password amd then re-type it to make sure that the two match up.

The default password and the 192.168.100.1 are shown on the bottom of your super hub.

Thanks so much for this info, El. We were never advised to change the "changeme" password by the engineers who installed the superhub, but I've done it now.

Afternoon all.

Squiggle, I'm glad to hear that Mr Badger hasn't been in your garden to do any more damage.

Moonie, I've done some housework, been to the tip to dump the hoover I killed and now I'm settling down with a cuppa. Middle son is here to wash his car but he and DiL won't be staying for tea, so I intend having a relaxing afternoon.

Enjoy the sport on tv.

Gosh Summer, how is your sister feeling today? I'd be under the table if I had three glasses of wine!

Eldest son was tormenting PB by throwing a pocket sized packet of tissues at her, which she then threw back and giggled. Eventually, she told him to stop it and said, "Granny, sort him out!".

She had her 30 month assessment with the Health Visitor during the week and passed with flying colours. She is way ahead of what is expected at her age - not that we needed them to tell us that.

Yogi, I installed my superhub but can't remember the instructions saying about changing the password either. I don't know how neceesary it is to change "changeme" but the mere fact that it's called that does indicate that it's advisable. And provided you remember the new password it seems to make sense to me to change it.

Well done PB An infant prodigy

Yay PB I'm not surprised, she's a bright little button and with so much interaction with everyone in your family, she's bound to be well above average
She has character too, which we love

El I hope the super hub is sorted out now

Squiggle I'm pleased you are well and oh crumbs, your poor neighbour are they as animal friendly as yourself?

My sister is surprisingly alright today, although she has gone for a nap now. She flies home tonight so I'm pleased she's getting some rest.
El- I agree, that's far too much IMO but she seems to find it amusing. I'm the boring one with my one glass of red and a pint of lemonade

 Makes sense to me too.

lol She is already running rings round the adults.

If you ever forget the new administration interface password, you can set it back to the default password by resetting the Super Hub 2 (this will also reset all other changes you have made to the unit).

 Thanks El.

She certainly is a little character!

I'm glad your sister is getting some rest before her flight home.

lol I wonder what your sister would call me, if she saw me with my lemonade and lime on a night out!

Evening everyone

My day has been good fankoo

I see some of you have been doing household stuff and others enjoying yourselves. Well hopefully you can all relax this evening

I got meself a new laser printer. All I have to do is set it up now

Yogi as you say, we all knew PB was as bright as a new pin. Now it's official, yeeeey!

I notice there are setup instructions and drivers for all operating systems, except the one I have, Linux , so it looks like trawling the net later

Well, if in doubt I shall call the guy who looks after all things technical for me. He usually has the answer

Have a good evening everyone
