She loves sleeping in the double bed in the spare room. She calls it "the big bed" and can take lots of dolls and teddies in with her.

She's due back on Wednesday.

Awwwww lubberly

Moonie

Good morning everyone.

A misty start to the day.

Squiggle, the badger was naughty to dig up your lawn, but how lucky you are (in other ways) to live so close to so much wildlife.

El, I'm glad you were able to get your test results and they were satisfactory.

I did the body clock test, and I'm also a lark.

Have a good day everyone.

but those would have to be done first thing

 That's true! Have one now.

And you

Moonie, I hope it warms up for you. There's only the slightest of breezes here at present.

I hope you have a great day, too

Thanks El

I think it is getting around to 'winter woolies' time too be honest

Moonie

My mother used to get lots of things from the best known place which sells thermal vests and everything else like that. She needed them as their house was a detached house with old night storage heaters. Apart from the cost of the electricity, the problem with them was that the heaters cooled down during the daytime. I don't think my parents trusted gas as there was no gas supply in the house (other than from the road to the pipe just inside the house by the front door).

Not surprisingly the people who bought the house ditched the storage heaters and had central heating installed.

Have a great Friday everyone, especially the workers

 Have a lark hug, Moonie.

My brother will be arriving later for one of his weekend visits. I think it probable that he will bring the usual Thornton cakes - a pack of chocolate ones and a pack of toffee ones.

We'll continue playing the computer adventure game "Book of Unwritten Tales 2". It's one of the longer adventure games by current lengths and I'm not expecting that we will finish it this time.

I hope you all have a great weekend

I am glad your brother is arriving soon EL and I hope you have a great weekend together.

I believe strongly in‘giving while living’ I had one idea that never changed in my mind ? that you should use your wealth to help people and i have decided to give {$1,500,000.00} One Million Five Hundred Thousand United Dollars, to randomly selected individuals worldwide. On receipt of this email, you should count yourself as the lucky individual. Your email address was chosen online while searching at random. Kindly get back to me at your earliest convenience, so I know your email address is valid.

Thank you for accepting our offer, we are indeed grateful You Can Google my name for more information: Warren Buffett .

God bless you.
Mr Warren Buffett Billionaire investor
squiggle

Thank you squiggle

As you can guess that email supposedly from Warren Buffett is almost certainly a scam, a bit similar to those where people are contacted by scammers saying they need to transfer money out of the country they are living in and will pay you to assist them. If you did email back you would probably find that you would be asked to pay something to them to help you get the money or ask for your bank details.

What makes it very cynical is that Warren Buffett is giving a large amount of his wealth away over a number of years but he's giving it to charitable organisations. Bill Gates is doing much the same thing:
