Such a contrast to moonie's lovely puppy pics but in a way related. What a lovely face this brave hero dog has
RIP Buster, the dog that completed five tours of duty in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq.
He saved thousands of lives by sniffing out bombs in these war zones. He was 13 and passed away peacefully at his home in Lincolnshire with Flight Sergeant Will Barrow.

RIP Buster, Not surprsingly he was awarded the Dickin medal (the animal equivalent of the Victoris Cross) in 2003. It was presented by Kate Adie.

They aren't a permanent fixture. Just a display from a local artist I think Yogi. Shame really
