I know!
It was like I knew the car was in the garage, but forgot that meant I didn't have it! If you know what I mean?

There's a theory that every time anyone makes a decision that the universe you are in creeates another universe so that in one universe the decision went one way, and in the other the decision goes the other way. As a result there are an infinite number of universes. the one you are in at present is the one where you haven't got your car back and in the other one you have. Parallel universes and quantum physics.
I'm not entirely convinced that this theory is accurate (though in the other universe I'm about to create, I am convinced that this theory is accurate)
Summer, is your Houdini a lurcher or greyhound as they are really high speed?
In Japan, work is underway to move a castle so that repairs can be done to the stone base of the floor:

which sort of reminded me of the 2005 animated film "Howl's Moving Castle" - trailer for that:

If you say so, El.
What breed of dog is it, Summer?
Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.
Night owl hugs for Ros and Summer.

night yogi and summer
Good mornng everyone
Cloudy here and there's been some rain overnight.
Yogi, I think Summer may have been gobbled up by Houdini

Gosh, I hope not, El!
The smiley page has gone haywire! Some are missing, some are in the wrong place and some are huge.
Good morning everyone.
As it's dry and bright, I'm going to get the lawns cut.
Squiggle, what did you think of last night's eviction? I must admit, I didn't see that one coming.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone, cold and windy, the forecast said no wind and warmer
I turned on my phone this morning to check who had been chucked out Yogi and Daniel was way at the bottom of my list. Was it a vote to save? I was keen to get rid of Farrah but after Thursday's episode, which I watched yesterday, I would have voted to evict Stevi and Chloe - there's only so much neediness you can take isn't there? Very very odd.
Our imagination has gone into overdrive over Summer's new doggy sleepover guest, what breed is he/she, what's happening, is Summer being run ragged and is his/her owner glad of the respite?
Summer I thought these were lovely and might make nice Christmas decoration
Pine cones painted to look like Zinnia flowers
Enjoy your day everyone
Yogi, I hope Summer hasn't been gobbled up either
The smiley page seem normal to me so it was probabaly just a temporary glitch somewhere.
Squiggle, I hope the weather gets better for you. It's a northerly wind which is why it's feeling colder.
I've bought some of those Whitby buns you like to try out this weekend.
Those painted pine cones are a clever idea and I can imagine Summer doing those.
Summer, I'm glad Miss Houdini didn't gobble you up and gets on well with Bramble
Those who are with Virgin Media may have heard that there is to be a free speed upgrade.
Speed Upgrade (T&Câs)
We will start the upgrade programme on 1 October which will offer a free upgrade to our base. This will roll out to 90% by the end of 2015 and the remaining will be completed in early 2016. As an area of the network is upgraded we will write to all of our customers in that area letting them know that their upgrade is ready and all they need to do to accept the upgrade is log on to their account online to confirm and we will then increase their speed.
By writing to them we are not forcing the upgrade upon them and if they want to stay as they are they can. If they decide not to take it at that time then the customer is able to log into their online account to take the upgrade at any time before the program is completed in 2016.
No officials announcements as to the new speeds. However there are unofficial reports that the speed could be doubled.
Evening all.
I'm glad Houdini hasn't escaped, Summer.
That's good news about the Virgin speed upgrades, El.
Squiggle, those pine cones are very pretty.
Well CBB was rubbish tonight, Ros.
Goodnight and sweet dreams.
Good morning everyone.
The sun is shining again.
I should have the day to myself.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Blue sky here for much of the day, and much les windy than the last few days.
Yogi, I hope you are still able to have a pleasant day
I wonder if the BBC's adaptation of An Inspector Calls (next Sunday) will be any good and how it will compare with the Alastair Sim film version. David Thewlis is the inspector in this version. The other well known actors are Ken Stott and Miranda Richardson as Mr and Mrs Birling. The adaptation is by Helen Edmundson who wrote the later 2 Suspicions of Mr Witcher programmes.

Thanks El.
I like the actors you've mentioned, so fingers crossed the adaptation is good.
Good morning everyone, a nice morning for a change.
I don't think I will watch the new adaption of An Inspector Calls because the one I watched fairly recently - which I think you mentioned EL - is still fresh in my mind.
C5 seem determined to ruin Big Brother don't they? I hated that meddling in the Royal Family task - it gave Farrah a wonderful opportunity to do what she does best and claim it was all called for in the task.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, I saw An Inspector Calls late June last year so just over a year ago.
I'm more likely to watch it than tonight's BBC1 drama.
Summer, I'm guessing CBB will be on to late September.
I'll not watch any of 'em EL, one as I have said still fresh in my mind and the other one I just don't think it's my cup of tea.

Squiggle, I didn't think for a moment you would watch tonight's BBC1 drama.
At least the Antiques Roadshow is back.
Summer, I'm glad you were able to get a decent walk today. I walked to church and back (1/2 hour in all) so some what short of your distance,
Weather has been very nice, so Keira and I have had a leisurely walk - a lot shorter than yours, Summer, but a bit longer than El's.
BTW, you were right, I did get a visit from one of my clan this morning.
Squiggle, did you watch Strictly last night? I think Peter and Helen looked like they might be good and Katie showed potential in the group dance.
I don't like Kirsty or Jamelia, but that has nothing to do with their dancing abilities.

Yes I did watch Strictly thank you Yogi, I like most of the contestants this year and there are some interesting couples. It did make me smile that they paired up Kristina with dear sweet Daniel O'Donnell, she has such a reputation and will of course stand no chance of any flirtation with him. I like Daniel he is such a sweet gentle soul. It should be interesting the line-up, but I still miss Brucie.
I am glad you all managed to get out in the sunshine today, that sounds like a lovely long walk Summer.

lol I think the Kristina and Daniel pairing was deliberate.
Yogi, it does seem to have been a day for walks
It does El. We have the sunshine to thank for it.

I know what you mean, Ros.
Good morning everyone.
Weather is dry and bright, but cold enough for the heating to come on.
Out and about with hubby today.
Have a good day everyone.
