Last week I tried out a Marks and Spencer Earl Grey Tea Loaf cake.

It's rather nice So I bought another one today for you to try.

Finally read the leaflet which accompanies my new meds, and sleep disturbance is a common side effect.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a pleasant day yesterday and a good night's sleep I have found in the past that some medication when I started taking it did result in poor sleep but it eased off after time. Hopefully you'll find the same

 That's what I'm hoping, El.

When Channel 4 first started Big Brother it was supposed to be a serious look at how a group of people interacted with each other when kept together for a long period of time in isolation from the outside world.

This project goes well beyond that (I doubt if it's going to be televised other than possibly on something like Sky at Night or Horizon):

I really must apologise EL, I didn't check what language it was in! You must have been very puzzled   I watched the Pixar short film on FB and it seemed the sort of thing you would like as well so I went to find it on Youtube, the first one I saw had a narration by the guy who did the voice on the film and I thought that was a bit much so I picked the one above, but I forgot to check it first.  I am glad you were able to watch the proper one in a language we could both understand

 

Dry so far though according to the forecast it is lightly raining Duh!  I hope your day goes well everyone, no matter what you are up to

For the first time this year the grass in gardens locally is looking green because of the rain this month. One upside of the poor weather we've been getting.

Good morning everyone, just thick grey clouds, no rain so far but a miserable morning.

 

It's the same down here in Devon Yogi, high rainfall is the price we pay for so much greenery and it's definitely worth it.  I hope your appointment with the nurse goes well.  I am watching CBB and it's an interesting mix.  But all the US contestants seem totally off the wall, is it my imagination or are they getting nuttier over there?  The women especially are a nightmare, especially Farah and I am so glad they got rid of Lila.  I like Janice but she's seems a little touchy.  Fatman Scoop is an interesting character and I've always liked Bobby Davro - early days we will see how it shakes out - I hope they show Farah the door on Tuesday.

Good morning yes I'm off today El I'm just stirring from my lay in and trying to talk myself into getting straight on the yoga mat. Bramble is on my pillow though and very snuggly this morning...

Squiggle, the rain seems to be easing off here so it's just thick grey clouds like for you. I think the rain is moving eastwards so you may not get any.

 

Summer, I'm glad you are able to get some relaxation today and get yourself straightened out (that is on that yoga mat )

Hospital appointment went well.

Blood test results confirm there is some improvement in my condition.

Nurse said to try Summer's sleep disturbance remedy (lavender oil and lavender pillow spray) for a month. If that doesn't work, he can prescribe something.

TBH, I'd prefer to stick to a herbal remedy.

I told him about the hoohaa over my Azathioprine and he's going to fax the GP and sort things out.

I like both my nurses at the hospital.

 

Squiggle, we are in agreement about the HMs.

El, I watched this on the show last night - absolutely fabulous!

I am glad all went well this morning Yogi, so far so good.

 

Wonderful clip EL, I remember going to the Natural History Museum when I was very young and being told that the blue whale was extinct so it's still quite amazing to me to see one.
