Good morning everyone.

Weather is rainy and miserable.

I've been on the phone to my GP practice and it's fair to say, they know I'm not a happy bunny. They have miraculously found me an appointment to have my bloods done today so the doctor can write me a prescription for my tablets. This was after I threatened to contact my consultant at the hospital!

Off to get ready, will be back later.

On a positive note I had the year end accounts approved and successfully de registered from VAT.

Hi Joe.

Do you fancy a trip to Scotland to seal around my bath?

at the news about the accounts.

Good morning everyone, very rainy here but the garden is lapping it up and the valley looks very pretty as the trees soak up all the rain.

Well done Yogi you got your point across very forcefully and I am glad they responded so well.

Sounds like a lovely seaside trip Summer, I am glad you slept so well.  Imagine how sleepy I am living by the sea all the time!

That's a blast from the past EL, there were some fantastic games on the Atari we had such fun on our daughter's one.  She and her daddy made a brilliant team on Space Invaders, there were so many brilliant games, I recall we had a Wild West one with cowboys shooting each other which had us falling about.

Enjoy your day everyone

Apropos sealant!!

i was fed up of waiting for an expert and looked it up on that chooby thing.

Look up "How to use sealant" or that sort of thing-I'll check later.

Essentially you need a Stanley knife (other craft knives are available for ÂĢ2 from Morrisons.

Sticky masking tape.

Sealant and sealant gun.

You need to remove the old stuff with the knife careful not to cut the wall or bath! you can also do it with a chemical method but it takes a while.

Line both sides of the gap with the masking tape leaving between 1/4" to 1/2"

feed the sealant along the gap. Then wet your finger and run it along over the sealant. Remove the tape.

have a plastic bag ready to put all the bits in and tape.

Good morning everyone

Cloudy here though not expecting any rain.

Tomorrow forecast to be sunny much of the day.

Thursday and Friday currently being forecast to be very nasty weather. Major low coming from the south heading north, with the potential for very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Some sites forecasting over 100 mm of rain over the two days in my area, though others only an inch. Could be the main weather story of the year.

Good morning and good luck skylark, I hope it's something easily treated

My evenings never go as planned lately; I intended to go to yoga and have a restful evening after, but ended up helping my friends son type up a CV. It's been years since I've done one and I really enjoyed it

I hope you've all got sunshine today, yogi- enjoy the garden centre
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone, a lovely day here, not blazingly hot but pleasant.

I hope all goes well at the hospital Skylark.  I wonder if you can resist plants while buying nuts at the garden centre Yogi.  My daughter and eldest grandson are on a chilli growing spree at the moment.  I bought them both a starter kit from South Devon Chilli Farm and the plants are sprouting very well.

I don't think the forecast is quite so bleak down here, certainly some heavy rain predicted Thursday night and quite wet over the weekend but it will be interesting to see if it changes to a more severe weather warning.

Enjoy your day everyone
