Yogi, well done on your shopping for Moonie
Thanks EL and Yogi that is comforting, I didn't know that you could use the Post Office that way. I wonder if they all have the Lloyds facility?
I do hope moonie is tempted back by those delicious cakes, thank you Yogi.

Fankoo Yogi
Moonie, I hope your neck problem eases and that you are over that viral infection. Take care of yourself
Velvet hasn't been around recently. I wonder if he's on holiday?
Yogi, I hope Velvet is OK - I'm not aware of any holiday. Velvet signed off after the end of Big Brother saying that he'd be back for CBB and hasn't been around other to to welcome Xochi in her thread.
Hi everyone . Logged in earlier but comp so slow.

Hi Skylark
Nice to hear from you. The summer is somewhat poor this year everywhere though the north does seem to be particularly bad. I hope your BBQ goes ahead on Sunday
How lovely to see moonie, hope you feel better soon. Skylark I hope the weather cheers up in time for Sunday.
Hi Skylark, I'm glad all is well with you.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that the sun shines on Sunday for the barbecue.

Thanks El. Maybe he's just having a short break from the forum.
Good morning everyone.
Weather is dry but chilly, atm.
I've got the nurse this morning, then I need to nip to the post office to get road tax for my car.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Lots of blue sky here and hardly any breeze - best day of the week.
Yogi, I hope all goes well with the injection I generally pay my road tax a few days before the end of the month in case I forgot. Also paid my July tax bill on Tuesday to get oi out of the way - wouldn't look good if an accountant forgot to pay their tax

I would have liked to do it a few days early but I was waiting on my certificate of insurance arriving. When I changed cars, the insurance renewal date didn't co-ordinate well with the road tax renewal date.
BIB Definitely wouldn't be good if you were late with your tax bill payment.
Yogi, I pay my road tax online on the DVLA site. It automatically checks that the car is insured so there's no need to use the insurance certificate. Woth considering for the future if the renewals dates are close.
Morning everyone.
Weather not great here today, not cold though, so thats something.
Wishing you all a happy weekend

Thanks El, I'll probably do that next time.

Morning Skylark. It's gone very cloudy over here.
Off to the nurse, be back later.
Yesterday warmed up lovely at lunch time and although the evening was cooler, it was a beautiful night. I stayed out much longer than planned with the dogs, just to make the most of it.
I logged in after tea to catch up here, got as far as strawberry tart and fell asleep!
So, yogi, I'm glad you had cake in the shopping basket and Moonie I hope that you soon recover from your viral infection we miss you
Skylark it's lovely to see you around too, I hope you all have a lovely weekend
El, indeed that wouldn't be a good example would it lol I panicked last month because I forgot to make an HMRC payment (with moving house etc) and remember the day after I should have paid it, I rang my accountant in a flap who told me not to worry because it's a one off. I paid it right away but still couldn't believe it, I'm am usually better organised
Skylark, I hope you have a happy weekend as well
Summer, I think that you don't get a penalty for paying the HMRC late once, but do if you are late another time in the following 12 months. You might get charged some interest but for one day late they mightn't bother,
One day you may get the choice of it being paid automatically in the same way VAT is.
Good morning everyone, certainly the brightest morning of the week, I hope that bodes well for the weekend.
Summer no wonder you forgot about the tax payment with all the stress of moving, well done on remembering as swiftly as you did.
Skylark I hope you have a nice sunny weekend for the barbecue. Hope all goes well with the nurse Yogi, that's the last one for a while isn't it?
I hope we see moonie (and Velvet) back with us on a more regular basis.
Enjoy your day everyone

Yes, last B12 for three months.
Still got the Humira to do myself this afternoon.
I echo your sentiments about Moonie and Velvet, they are missed.
Summer, as Squiggle said, you had a lot going on recently so it's no wonder you forgot.
For those who like mysteries and fashion from the 1950s, a photographer has asked for help in identifying some vintage photos she found. It's on the BBC website but the photos are better on the photographer's Facebook page.

Click on any photo to see it and there are 9 in all.
I saw it on the news, it's so cute!
As there's not much in the way of clouds here today I should be able to see the blue moon this evening (not blue, just the second full moon this month).
For self employed people, July should be the last month you see the class 2 national insurance being taken out of your bank account if you pay by direct debit. It's been paid in arrears and the July payment clears it uo to 5 April this year. It's now collected through the self assessment tax and class 4 national insurance (the 2015/16 tax return so due to be paid January 2017).

Great video, El.
Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.
Good morning everyone.
It's raining again. I'm so sick of rain!
Harv is getting picked up this morning, then I might cheer myself up with a visit to the big garden centre.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Cloudier than yesterday but fairly bright and not much in the rain expected.
Yogi, I'm not surprised you are fed up with rain The house will seem empty without Harv. If you go to the garden centre you could buy some water lilies.

I wouldn't need to dig a pond for them, they'd survive on top of the lawn!
I think Harv will be back next week when I have PB on an overnight, El, so we won't miss him for long.
