It's getting darker here and I've had to turn on the light to see the client's records I'm working on

 

I forgot to mention that I spoke with the client who has been off work for a long time with the ankle problems. Although his ankle is still causing problems he has recently returned to work for a couple of hours twice a week. I guess that's on a trial basis to see if he's able to work.

Hi Summer, I agree that is good news especially considering what a serious injury it was.  I hope all goes well for him.

Unusual phone call just now.

Another firm of accountants in a different town applying for a mortgage and looking for another accountant to certify their accounts as part of the mortgage application.

I didn't accept the work as I don't have the time and the amount of work involved is an unknown quatity (and in all probability the work would need to be done immediately).

Afternoon all.

 

Summer, my son and his fiancee has just left for the wedding. Mr Yogi is dropping them off. Son looked very handsome in his kilt and his fiancee looked beautiful. She is a very pretty girl and her dress was so feminine and gorgeous.

Squiggle, the sun has disappeared but it is still dry and bright so hopefully the bride and groom will get some good photos.

 

El, it sounds like your client is well on his way to full recovery. I imagine the type of op he had, has a long recovery time.

 

I slept a lot better last night, thanks everyone. No need for Moonie's Mallet.
