It looks as if you'll miss the thunderstorms this evening and overnight. Looking at the latest weather maps my area is on the border of the area at risk of thunderstorms from about 11 pm to 2 am.

 

Bought what seems to be a new Muller yoghurt at the Co-op this morning. I haven't seen it before and the one I took was the first one in the box so it looks as if it may have been released today.

Very warm here today , but more air after the thunder and lightening storm we had. Son has fab photos on his phone, very dramatic images.

The pictures on television of those storms were rather dramatic.

There may be some in my area around 11 tonight to around 2 in the morning.

I hope you've been able to get a replacement mobile.

 

I think Heather Watson will need a huge amount of luck today though she knows she's got nothing to lose and is a fighter.

Hi El, no mobile yet, the one i wanted was gone, but will have one by next week. 
Yes Heather will need some luck, but i have faith!   Nerves may get to her.....but nothing to lose, as such xx

Heather is one of those players who doesn't give up and is capable of fighting back, For instance in the first round against Caroline Garcia, the 32 seed, she lost the first set 1-6, but fought back to win the next 2 sets.

Jabs were stingy, but I survived!

Two more jabs in a fortnight's time (the pack said a week!), then one injection a fortnight after that. Mr Yogi is going to do them for me - my hero!

Nurse was very nice.

Squiggle, fortunately I'm not needle phobic.

El, I will be like a pin cushion, especially when I start getting the vitamin B12 injections too!

Odd about Safari, but it's not a browser I have any experience of.

I am glad the first round of injections is over Yogi

 

Heather Watson did brilliantly by all accounts, she should have a good year next year hopefully.  I caught the odd moment and I thought Serena was looking less than her best, she has been at the top a long time.

 

The relationship between Keira and Harvey is very sweet, but I hope Keira knows it won't be long until she sees him again.

Ah thanks EL, I don't have a single Apple product so it's a mystery to me.

I spend most of my browsing time on m'phone and iPad and very little on my computer. As far as I can see I am permanently signed into this site.

GJ, I think that if you were to sign out of here via your avatar in the top right of the screen, then went to log in you would find that the Remember Me box was ticked. That means that unless you sign out you bypass the log in screen. So on any visit to the forum even if you post nothing you appear on the visitors as logged in.

I am on my iPad and never have a problem with Safari on it, touch wood *tap head* 

 

I have to put my email addy and password in everytime I come on to post. As El says, I log off every time I go and don't use the *remember me* option either, so I don't know what's going on with some of you my friends

I sign out and get the "You have logged out" message, but when I come back to the site, I am already signed in. I haven't ticked the "Remember me" box either.

I did google it, and others have had similar problems with Safari signing them back in, on other sites.

 

Edit: it doesn't happen every time I sign out.

Although the article is about saving all passwords automatically I think there's info there which would indicate that the Passwords section of Safari's preferences may be the clue.

 I'll go and have a read.

My Safari password preferences are all off, so no passwords are/have been stored. #It'samystery 

Youngest son took my Ipad, twiddled about with stuff and says it's now fixed! I have no idea what he did, and he says he can't tell me or he will need to kill me!

I signed out and it didn't sign me back in, so he might have fixed it.

Sun is shining atm. I'm sure rain is forecast for later.

 

I keep waking early - 5.30am this morning. I misread the clock and thought it was 7.30am. By the time I realised my mistake, I'd already made a cup of tea and was wide awake. Guess who might be having an afternoon nap?!

 

El, I wasn't signed in when I returned to this site this morning, so maybe youngest son has fixed the Safari problem after all. 

 

If it stays dry until the neighbours are awake, I might try to get the lawns cut this morning. If it doesn't stay dry, I'm going to have a lazy day.

Good morning everyone, I know we are getting rain but I don't know when it's due to start.  I hope you can manage to get the lawns done Yogi - I hope you enjoy your afternoon nap.  I am always frightened I won't sleep at night if I have one.

 I think I'd have been chased out of the village!

 

Mr Yogi helped me to do both lawns and a general tidy up in the garden. We timed it right, as it has now clouded over and there has been a spit of rain.

 

I don't feel tired atm, so the afternoon nap might be cancelled.
