Good morning everyone, we have blue sky and fluffy white clouds, and sunshine wall to wall is forecast for later, I do hope so.

Have a good day with PB Yogi, I hope she likes her new chair and desk, well done Mr Yogi.

Sounds like you are settling in really well Summer and a new book to top it off, sounds like the same book I have just added to my wish list.  I prefer to read paperbacks rather than on the Kindle mostly and I will wait to buy a good used copy, but I hope its a good read.

I am glad the meeting went well EL.

Enjoy your day everyone

squiggle
Good morning a bright start here but now clouding over.

Sorry for my abrupt exit last night, the wave of tiredness hit me suddenly!
I hope you all slept well

Yogi I hope you have a lovely PB day

Squiggle, I too like paperbacks, mostly because I like to read in the bath. But she does sometimes release ebooks/short stories. This book looks like her biggest yet, are you going to read tea shop on the corner now..?

What are the boys of our group up to today?
~Sparkling Summer~

Summer, I'm not surprised you were overcome with tiredness

I'm currently working on a client's accounts which are straightforward and I'll get them done today though he's away next week. When I go to visit him I go a longer route. The shorter route goes down a road near his house which is close to the river and is very potholed. The last time I went that way resulted in my exhaust being damaged and having to be replaced.

El Loro

I was looking at my stash of her books recently, you know I like to save all my favourite author books so that I know I will have something good to read.  Well I only have 2 left to read, but I am tempted to read teashop on the corner fairly soon.  I downloaded, for nothing, a short story of hers exclusive as an ebook.

Interesting. according to Jodrell Bank/University of Manchester for us in the UK:

As Jupiter moves slowly towards Regulus in Leo throughout the month of June, Venus is moving more quickly across the heavens from Cancer into Leo and, on the 30th of the month, catches up with Jupiter when they come just 21 arc minutes from each other.   Interestingly, both planets will then have the same angular diameter of 32 arc seconds, but whilst Jupiter sports an almost fully illuminated disk, that of Venus will be a thin crescent just 34% illuminated.   Low above the horizon, they will dominate the sky in the west-northwest from around 22:30 BST until they set around an hour later.

Squiggle, I hope you enjoyed the family day and got lots of cuddles with the baby. I can recommend The Teashop On The Corner.

El, I'm not surprised you opt to go the longer way round, rather than the pot hole filled shortcut.

Velvet, you have a good weekend too.

Summer, no wonder you are tired, you have been so busy with everything that's been going on.

Moonie, could you send some of that sunshine up my way please?!

Had a great day with PB.

 Thanks Moonie.

The original blackbirds (really tame pair) disappeared after last years breeding season, which was disappointing for PB and me. Other blackbirds visit but they aren't quite as tame.

However, the originals reappeared yesterday  and PB was really excited because the female comes right beside us to take the raisins.

We had been quite sad because we thought they might have died, but then she popped up at the kitchen window, looking in and waiting for me to come out with the raisins and he followed later.

Grandad asked if he could have a kiss tonight - sometimes she presents her forehead to be kissed and at other times you get a proper kiss - tonight she presented her hand to be kissed, like she was a princess!
