I fight a never ending battle with weeds. So far, the weeds are winning.

Mr Yogi bought me a new laptop (the old one needed a week's notice before you switched it on) and I'm trying to set it up atm. I'm driving him nuts because I keep shouting, "Help, I don't know what I'm doing!".

Isn't Nature lovely, sometimes?

Well, whenever I have anything but very very simple stuff that needs sorting, I take it to a guy who has been looking after my computers for 7 or 8 years now. Very reasonable in price and he knows his business

Sympathy for your current plight

I love nature - except the weeds.

My youngest son would have done it all for me when he next visits - but as I might have mentioned before, I'm not very patient.

Agrees

I guess it's always more satisfying when we can do it ourselves but with me that's impossible

Moonie

Good morning everyone, cold and drizzly here brrrr I'm glad to be stopping in.  I hope the weather is better wherever you all are especially if you have to go out.  I hope all goes well with your clients EL.

Moonie that plant even looks revolting, I'm sure the smell is awful.  That was a fleeting visit Summer - hope everything is going well and you will be back with us for a longer visit soon.

Enjoy your day everyone

squiggle

Squiggle, all went well with my clients meeting. I've got another client meeting this evening, and two more tomorrow.

I hope your weather gets better. Apart from being breezier than the last couple of days, the weather is OK in my area.

Summer, I hope your hot water is working again or gets sorted out quickly.

El Loro

Good afternoon everyone.

Weather is up here is sunshine and showers, and very breezy too.

Summer, I hope you are settling in well.

No problem Moonie, I had decided to have an early night anyway.

El, that plant even looks like it would stink!

Skylark, I hope you are enjoying your time to yourself.

Squiggle, did you watch the programme, "Home Fires"? As you know, I love stuff about the Homefront during WW2, and I really liked it.

Been to the hospital this morning to see the two specialist nurses about the change in my treatment. They spent 45 minutes explaining everything in detail and answering all of my concerns. They also reminded me that, although they and my consultant were recommending the treatment, I could refuse it.

Really lovely guys, very clued up and no pressure from them - my type of medical professionals.

I am going ahead with the treatment, but having a type which can be injected rather than infused - eventually self-injected It means I won't need those lengthy visits to hospital, which is a relief. I will be very well monitored and the treatment will be reviewed after a year. There is even a possibility that, for the first time in 15 years, my Crohns could go into remission!

Middle son is popping in for a visit, but I'll be back later.

Yogi19

That sounds very good news Yogi and such a relief that they are a caring team who take your wishes into account, as of prime importance.  I hope all goes well, it would be amazing if the Crohns was actually to go into remission - there would be such a party on Gaga.

Yes I have been enjoying Home Fires, most especially the poor Pat storyline.  I am saving the last episode until the weekend when I find there is very little on to watch, especially as I am not watching BB.

I hope you enjoy your middle son's visit.
