Hope El, and squiggle miss the bad weather down south.
You been busy, Yogi, hope you sitting with your feet up x

I've just been doing some ironing.

I'm hoping for a lazy weekend, so I'm trying to make sure everything is up to date.

Oh oh it's just started to rain, better get the windows shut.  When there is a storm in the offing you definitely get a feeling of pressure so I can understand why you would get a headache Yogi.  Skylark I hope you got your washing dry before any rain up there.  I too don't mind thunderstorms, although we did have one right overhead a few years ago and that knocked out the computer plug assembly extension thingy, whatever they're called and the one that Sky is plugged into.  If I remember correctly it threw the circuit breaker too which was a real pain.  I've got plug assemblies with circuit breakers now so at least I don't have to replace them.

I hope not. I'm busy attaching helium balloons to the house so that it can take off in case the water gets too high.

Have you got time to build an ark?

Unfortunately the gophers have been eating the gopher wood and the villeins have pinched the pitch for their pitchforks for next Wednesday's assault on the Met Office

El, is mizzling like misty drizzling? I'm glad you didn't get the predicted thunderstorms.

Moonie, I hope you don't get soaked when you're out shopping.

Have a good day everyone.

Hi Yogi

I was gonna ask that too

The wet weather gear will probably do the trick thanks but it sweaty and uncomfortable

Still that's better than wet

Have a great day

Rainproof clothing always makes you hot, especially when it's raining in June!

Stay dry Moonie.

Thanks Yogi, I hope it stays dry for you

I hope you manage to enjoy the day everyone, despite the awful weather

Hi Squiggle

Hope the weather brightens up for you

*goes to search out me wet weather gear*

I already have a swiss roll

You have a good day too Squiggle

Moonie

Yogi, yes, mizzling is misty drizzling. It's used in Devon and Cornwall.

Moonie, I hope you don't get drowned when you go out shopping.

Squiggle, I agree with you, it's a miserable morning.

On the very local weather website (based about a mile away) it shows a reading for cloud base (how many feet above sea level is the base of the lowest clouds). The scale goes up to 5000 feet. It's currently 260 feet. That's very low and is why the weather is so mirky.

Yeey! that's good Yogi. We do miss it when it's not there, don't we?

Not half!
