I've been up a ladder chopping my hedge today. Hubby said, "you should have left it for me", but patience isn't my strong point!

I hope you had your safely harness on Yogi

Nope, I just clambered up and hoped for the best!

 Noooooooooo

Yeeeessssss!

But...but...but we could have ended up with a damaged Yogi

I'm like a weeble, I wobble but I don't fall down.

well don't do it again *wags finger*

Okay!

Good gal

Not this week, Moonie. She's away with her other grandparents this week, while DiL recovers from an op.

I hope your DiL gets better soon

You're not gonna get your PB fix this week then?

Thanks Moonie. I saw DiL yesterday and she's recovering well, she says my son is trying to feed her up!

I'm sure I'll get my fix next week.

I think it's his way of showing he cares.

Moonie

Good morning everyone, wall to wall grey cloud today sadly.

Well done Yogi, did you manage to get all the hedge trimmed, I'm glad you managed to stay safe you little daredevil you   Good luck with the bath for Keira, swimming costume recommended - I remember bathing Ben in the garden, our beagle that is not our lovely BB Ben

Enjoy your day everyone

I've just cut the grass. Didn't take very long, but not much growth in the last 2 weeks. I've noticed that the grass doesn't seem to have grown as much this year so far compared to other years. I think it could be as a result of compratively dry year so far. Using the closest available weather data I can find, Cheltenham average rainfall in previous years for January to May 326.5mm. Local website a mile away from me shows 181mm for the same period.

El Loro

Good luck with the shopping with your sister, Moonie. I wonder what she'll come home with this time?

Squiggle, I have left the top bit of hedge which is behind the greenhouse, as the ground isn't level enough to go up the ladders without someone holding them. Hubby will do it at the weekend.

El, we've had plenty of rain up here, it certainly hasn't been the usual weather for this time of year - until this week!

I've been to Morrisons and I've had a healthy salad sandwich for lunch

Followed by a jam doughnut!

 <- help yourselves to doughnuts!

Off to bath Keira. I bet I end up as wet as her!

Afternoon Yogi     Well done on bathing Keira    might give ours a try if the weather keeps up, with the power washer hose. The previous attempt was in a shower unit and we both needed a towel afterwards.

Enjoy your evening everyone

Hi Velvet.

The last time we did Keira in the bath, Mr Yogi slipped after he'd lifted the heavy lump out. He went down with such a thump, we thought he'd broken his knee!

After that, we said, she either goes to the groomers in the winter or gets done outside in summer.

Off to get some dinner, will be back later.

Yogi19

Good morning everyone, rain all day long seems to be the forecast, it hasn't started yet but when it does it will just get steadily worse.  Summer solstice next week and after that the days start getting shorter again so summer had better get a move on if it plans to visit us this year.

Well done on staying dry Yogi, more than I ever managed with Ben.
