Yogi, I'm sorry to hear of your wrecked greenhouse Any chance of being able to make an insurance claim?

Thanks El. By the time I paid the insurance excess and took into account the hike that would happen to my premiums (from previous experience), I don't think it would be worth making a claim.

Mr Yogi says he'll see if sons can fix it, but I'm not hopeful.

I understand

Good morning everyone, wow Yogi I am so sorry to hear of what happened to your greenhouse.  I do hope it can be fixed but like you from the sound of it it does sound doubtful.  You must have lost some precious plants too, quite a blow to wake up to   I don't know what they are classing this as other than high winds but it surely has been the blowiest rainiest night, quite wild.  Loads of my windows are covered in bits of leaves, it was tearing huge great clumps of leaves off together.

I hope everyone is safe and hasn't experienced too much damage to fences, roofs etc.

Be careful everyone if you have to go out, fallen trees, slippery leaves etc.

Thank you EL You know my small extension had a leaking roof before so that was the first thing I checked when I came downstairs, dry as a bone thankfully.  It was also the first real test for my 'gutter hedgehogs' which I had fitted to my new gutters.  They are long lengths of bristles which sit in the gutter and allow the rain in but not the leaves, which just sit on the top of them and then blow away again.  So far so good, but I haven't ventured out yet.   How is your property?

Thanks Squiggle. I'm glad you and El haven't had any damage.

Good morning everyone, good news Summer, I hope it really suits you.  Is it handy for work?

Enjoy your day with your little sweetheart Yogi, she will be sad to see your greenhouse but she will be pleased, I am sure, to help you when you have a nice new replacement.

I hope the client visit goes smoothly EL.

Enjoy your day everyone

 Everyone.
Hope you all well and the weather better where you all are.
Sorry about the greenhouse Yogi. Hope you having a good day with PB.
Glad you getting sorted Summer.
Have a right stonker of a head cold. Nose running like a tap, very annoying.
Maybe will get some sunshine soon to perk us all up.
Have a good day xx

Pluto's moons wobble:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/scie...environment-33005898

In Greek mythology Pluto was the ruler of the underworld.

Pluto has 5 moons. The biggest is called Charon (the ferryman in the underworld). There's Kerberos (Cerberus was the 3 headed dog guarding the underworld) and Styx (that's the name of the river on which Charon ferried the new arrivals across). Hydra is another one (another guardian and was multi-headed). The fifth is Nix (Nyx was Charon's mother and was the goddess of night).
