EDIT  I meant to say I was a Rachel's Angel and we fought like mad for her to win, my phone bill was enormous.  Who here was in the team?

Just been doing a spot of local shopping (nothing like cakes) before the rain sets in - total cost £12-34,

On the way back I saw 4 waste collection vehicles within 3 minutes - is this a record? (they weren't together, couldn't have been the same vehicle seen more than once due to the direction and roads I saw them, and I don't live anywhere near a rubbish tip).

Weather warning for the winddy conditions fot the rest of the day and much of tomorrow - looks as if virtually everyone gets it (the rain warning is for half of Wales)

 One of my neighbours described it as November weather.

The forecasters on the BBC said that the wind and rain was closer to what would be expected in November rather the 1st of June so your neighbour's right.

We in England have to be older than those in Scotland to get a free bus pass. In my case nearly 2 years longer,

I thought Rachel was the nicest girl to pass through those doors too velvet, it still makes me smile to think of her trying to edge through a doorway dressed as a huge cake

night yogi BB shaping up this year

Good morning everyone.

It's still raining, cold and blowing a gale.

I woke this morning to find the wind has caused major damage to my greenhouse.

Three panels are smashed and one of the door panels blew off and the frame looks beyond repair. The door landed inside the greenhouse, on top of some plants. I don't think I can fix it this time.

Very cloudy, rain easing but some more forecast this morning. Windy most of today but expected to weaken this evening. Not nice weather but nowhere near as bad as elsewhere.

Yogi, I'm sorry to hear of your wrecked greenhouse Any chance of being able to make an insurance claim?

 Thanks El. By the time I paid the insurance excess and took into account the hike that would happen to my premiums (from previous experience), I don't think it would be worth making a claim.

Mr Yogi says he'll see if sons can fix it, but I'm not hopeful.
