im ok ta
still keeping my teeth safe, the remainding ones that is
Hi Pirate, there was a monsoon here this morning for about 15 minutes - 5mm of rain in that time (which in an hour would have been nearly an inch)
Velvet, I think many people find 8.1 more comprensible than 8 though it will take time to get used to. You will need something like Dummies guide to Windows 8.1 to help understand it or look at various guides on Youtube.

i reckon giving up baccy & using a vape has helped a lot-i get less infections/abcesses now
been 7months plus since ive smoked & i smoked a LOT
with changing the coils/buying the liquid costs me about ÂĢ3.00 a week
compared to about ÂĢ35 (probably more) a week before
Off for the evening, take care . Love to all, Pirate and Velvet too
Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.
Good morning everyone.
Flying visit before PB arrives. She is staying overnight so I doubt I'll be around much this weekend.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Good morning everyone
Some blue sky here at present, but forecast to cloud over. Dry until later this evening when the rain sets in.

Yogi, I hope you and PB have a great time
Me too Yogi, I am sure you will both have a ball, sleepover time
Grey skies at present and heavy rain forecast later, no nice weather to look forward to until the middle of next week. I don't think I've ever known it this cold in late May.
This BB is not for me so this afternoon I am going to watch a highlight DVD I have of BB4 when Big Brother really was how it started out. I watched the very first bit yesterday afternoon and they went in in ordinary clothes carrying their cases, no razamatazz and they were normal everyday people. Of course that's the one with Jon Tickle and I had forgotten he's an identical twin so it was quite a shock to see two of them hugging each other before he went in, they really are two peas in a pod.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, this May does seem to have been cooler than in recent years. My central heating is still coming on first thing in the mornings and late evening which is a sign of that. It doesn't stay on inbetween times though.
I'm glad you are in a happy happy mood

night everybody
Good morning everyone
Cloudy and rainy here too.
Summer, I hope things are calmer for you this next week
Good morning everyone, cold and rainy here too. I hope things do calm down for you next week Summer. I'm off to a different church this morning to hear an absolutely inspirational speaker, he is a vet but has led my local church in the past when they were between ministers.
Enjoy your day everyone
There wasn't much rain this morning in my area and it could be dry for the rest of the day. Still cloudy and a bit breezy. Tomorrow afternoon and Tuesday forecast to be very windy and wet for many of us. A couple of near neighbours have gone off this morning for a caravan holiday. Just as well they are driving to Dawlish today rather than tomorrow or Tuesday.
Squiggle, I hope you found the speaker as inspirational as you had hoped. Trinity Sunday is just the day for something inspirational. For Christians, there is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, yet there is the one God. One of the great mysteries which we humans cannot hope to fully understand. One way is to think of water, ice and steam - three substances but all the same thing.
He was wonderful EL, I have a wonderful feeling of peace now, he really is in touch with the Spirit and brings the gospel to life in a very special way.
This is going to sound silly when I know Big Brother is running at the moment, but I have just finished watching the highlights of BB4 and I really really miss Big Brother! Having people you could really take to heart and get behind and support and vote and really want them to win. They were such a lovely group of people, unforgettable and it was lovely to see them all again.
Squiggle, not that I watch Big Brother, but from what I hear of it I doubt if someone like Cameron Stout who won BB4 would want to be a contestant in it nowadays.
No way would he EL, I get occasional updates on him from a friend whose daughter lives on Orkney. I know you don't watch but there were so many lovely people in the one I watched. Names we still remember, as well as Cameron and Jon Tickle there was Scott, Steph, Ray, Nush and Gos. The show's just not the same nowadays and I found myself unable to watch this time. I watched the first night and didn't take to any of them and then thought I would try again but only lasted ten minutes or so.
Evening all.
I've had a brilliant weekend with PB. She helped Granny to do some gardening, although her idea of putting the pruned branches in a bundle was not the same as Granny's. She decorated another plant with coloured clothes peg - very fetching!
We made chocolate crispie cakes and did lots of drawings. She is always asking me to draw people in the family - not an easy task since I can't draw to save myself! I could have done without watching several episodes of Peppa Pig!
Squiggle and Velvet, I agree with you about Cameron and Rachel. I like nice people and prefer my winners to be nice.
I hope everyone has had a good weekend.
I did.
And glad you enjoyed yours Yogi
I'm glad to hear it. Did you take a trip to the Kingdom?
Aye. All sorted and dusted. The driving over there brings me out in a rash
A trip to Morrisons can do that to me!
Evening Summer. I hope you've had a good weekend?
A good clear out is a good thing, you always feel better once it's done.
I'm not sure I can use the word "enjoying" with BB any more, but I'm still sticking with it.
The Rachel year was when I joined CH4 forums and found everyone!
There are three who are not on my Hitlist, and that's it!
