Good morning everyone.

Sun is shining atm but showers are expected.

El, I'm glad you enjoyed the blackcurrant and almond tart. I'm not keen on blackcurrants so I think we've finally found a tart I won't eat!

Skylark, have a lovely day with your granddaughter.  I'd love a walk round the botanical gardens.

Squiggle, you must be delighted now that the work is done and everything looking so good. I hope you finish your cleaning today and then you can sit back and relax.

Moonie, I laughed at your sister and the handbag! I've never done anything like that. I hope she finds the mobile phone that she wants soon.

PB was on good form until early evening. She hadn't had a nap and became a bit cranky and wouldn't give anyone (except granny) a kiss goodbye. They had all had kisses during the day so it wasn't all bad.

It was sunny yesterday, so I was wearing light coloured cropped trousers and T-shirt, and PB asked me "Is Granny wearing jammies?"

She also decided she would decorate my buddlia plant - with coloured clothes pegs! It looks....different!

Youngest son and his fiancΓ©e, and middle son (DiL was out and about with her sisters) were also visiting and stayed for tea. It was a busy day but a good one.

I was really tired last night as I hadn't slept the previous night, and slept until 9.29am! That's a late rise for me.

Have a good day everyone.

Yogi, my sister is like that, goes out for one thing and comes back with another

I am used to it now so just have the occasionally

I'm sure that mobile will be forthcoming, eventually

I had a real chuckle at PB and her *only kissing granny* bless and the *jammies* remark too  but  the plant decorations

She really is a little darling

Glad you had such a lovely day with PB and the rest of your family who turned up

No wonder you was tired

Lovely memories though

Those are really creepy, who'd want one?

That tart looks delicious but I'm like Yogi I don't like blackcurrants, now if it was only cherry that would be different, but thank you anyway EL.

I wonder what your sister will come home with next time she goes shopping for a mobile moonie

Fankoooooooooo El

You can take a third slice if you want as squiggle doesn't like blackcurrants either. It's just as well that it's calory and sugar free

Good morning everyone, cloudy here too but no rain forecast.  Enjoy your trip to the garden centre Yogi, will there by scones or cakes involved at all, as well as gorgeous plants of course.

I will probably pop into the garden centre myself tomorrow while I'm out and about but not for plants this time, I want some inspiration for a new pond edging.

Enjoy your day everyone

Yogi, I wonder if you might buy any plants this time

Awww that's a shame Squiggle but there is still hope, as you are going to M&S

My day will go great when I have finished my weeding. So time to start again

Enjoy your trip and will catch up later

The world famous cheese rolling event about 5 miles from where I live takes place today, not that I ever go to it.

This is what my local news website say about the weather for the event:

Rain should hold off for the Brockworth's annual cheese rolling event today on what will be an overcast but dry day.

Drak clouds will hang over Gloucester throughout the day but there is only a ten per cent chance of a downpour, according to the Met Office.

If draks do appear, there will be a major panic on the hill, Some may decide to bring bread with them and have toasted cheese sandwiches.

Drak is Czech for dragon, and comes from the Latin word draco. Drake can also mean a type of dragon.
