Oh dear, yes they are aggressive birds. Not the first time they have flew down and tried to attack me. Very scary   One of my neighbours said she saw a fox, so maybe they can scare them off. A few years back a family of foxes lived near and no seagulls came . So dont know how much truth in that. Foxes can scream just as loud though! They can open bins so easy, maybe they hungry so will try to have patience....not ....!

I love foxes. When my eldest was a student, I used to pick him up from work at 10pm and the foxes would be wandering about the carpark looking for scraps. The cubs are so cute!

They are noisy at times and they do make a mess when they get into bins etc.

Yogi, that's true and probably now that we've got wheelie bins, they can't be as easy for foxes to get into. Having said that my neighbout often has so many black bags in thie wheelie that the lid isn't flat and the bags are visible (don't know if they recycle things - they don't use the recycle box but of course could go to the recycling banks)

We see quite a few foxes around here but they can't get into the wheelie bins.

We often get foxes chugging along the road outside in the early hours of the morning

Recreation ground at the bottom of our garden and public park at the bottom of the road

Me and my sister watched a fox and cubs playing in the long grass in her back garden one year too

Squiggle, their policy is not to replace anything until all repair options are exhausted

To that end, they repaired it

As long as it is repaired to your full satisfaction moonie

Looking good Yogi!  It makes a lot of difference to how you feel doesn't it.  I told my grandson about the deer and it is the same one I saw in the field last year, I didn't think she would ever venture into my garden though, I wonder if she has become separated from the herd.

I've only ever seen one fox down here and that was right after I'd said to my brother-in-law and his wife who I was fetching from the station that I'd never seen a fox

I've spilled curry sauce on my top, so I'm off to find the stain remover.

Will be back later.

Back from shopping trip with my sister

No blood spilt  Still no mobile phone though. She can't find the exact one she is after. Don't ask  She is going to leave it until after the hols now...sighs with relief

Going past a handbag shop on the way home. "Oh I like that one." So we went into the shop, had a good mooch around and she came out with......an entirely different one. Women and their handbags

Love you all really  .

Me too, the weather is not nice enough down here but I hope it's a lovely outing.

I am glad you're enjoying the cakes EL, M&S used to do a lovely cherry and almond tart which were scrumptious but I haven't seen them in there for ages now.

I think I'm beginning to get on top of the mess and the dirt, it felt so good to get the extension clean yesterday.  It looked clean but it was just gritty and horrible and fine black dust everywhere - only to be expected as they took the old roof away.  Hopefuly the rest of the glasses and ornaments go back today.

Enjoy your day everyone
