Summer, good luck with your car hunting, I hope you find something you like.

I dragged Mr Yogi round the shops today, as I was looking for some accessories to go with a new outfit - I hate that kind of shopping almost as much as he does.

As a consolation, we went out for lunch.

Moonie, No PB visit, I'm afraid. I don't think I'll see her until Saturday.

Evening I didn't think my post had posted once, let alone twice! It's been coggy but I think it's been my phone. I've switched it on & off again and it's ok now

El I love the car pancake! thank you

I have reserved a car to view next week, it's coming up from Leeds and if it's as good as it sounds, I'll take it. It's exactly what I want, the price i want and has lower mileage than I was aiming for
I test drove a demo version and loved it.

Yay, that you've found a car you like.

Things were coggy here last night, Summer, so it might have been the site and not your phone.

Good morning everyone, wow what a lovely breakfast feast Summer, thanks - looks to see what moonie hasn't already made off with

Some blue sky today but lots of heavy clouds too - white not grey though.

Good news about the car Summer, what sort and most importantly what colour is it?

Sounds like a good day Yogi, what did you make of Home Fires?

I will watch that video clip now, thanks EL.

Enjoy your day everyone

Just egg on toast and a banger Squiggle

Hope you have a good Bank Holiday

Moonie

For squiggle and summer in particular:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-32579675

If you sell a car you should get the car tax refunded by the DVLA automatically up to the end of the previous month. If you buy a car at the same time you have to apply and pay for the car tax from the beginning of that month.

So if you sell a car in April for instance and buy another one you get a refund on the old car to the end of March, but pay car tax on the new one from the beginning of April. Result is you may cat tax twice for April.

You too I had my eye on a banger and thought you might have snuck in and snaffled it

Have a great day Yogi, I have recorded Home Fires, it looks good I am glad you enjoyed it.

Is Home fires the programme about women in war time? If so, I meant to watch that and will find it on catch up.

I've come back to bed- that cold I was fighting off has appeared in full force. Luckily for me, Miss Bramble is feeling lazy and snuggly.

Thank you El, the new car tax system takes a little bit of getting your head round, but I think in the long run its going to be a better system.
The tax for the new car is only ÂĢ30 per year

Squiggle, it's black I didn't mind what colour is was, but I am pleased it's black. Funnily, I've always ended up with white or black cars, and just 1 green one (which turned out to be my least favourite car I've ever owned).

Awwww sorry your poorly Sweet, hope yo feel better soon

There are a lot of nasty bugs going around

Good news on the car tax front

Moonie

Afternoon all.

Summer, I hope you feel better soon.

I used to have a little red Ford Ka, and it was a great wee car.

lol Squiggle, I always ask what colour a new car is too - in fact, it is usually my only question.

El, I tend to ignore reviews of programmes. So often, I have enjoyed something which the critics have panned, or vice versa!

I've bathed the dog - it was warm enought to do it outside, which saved Mr Yogi from getting a hernia by lifting her into the bath!

Moonie, hope things are well with you?  Did you get rid of that wasps nest?

Hi Yogi

Mr Yogi might have been pleased but was Keira?

Well, the council destoyer of all flying pests did come and he said they where not wasps, they where masonry/mining bees and they do not sting apparently. He said they burrow into crumbling masonry and lay about 20 eggs and that is their sole purpose. He said wasps do not appear until the end of April/May. He did seem to know what he was on about

He said if we have any more problems to contact him and he will come back and have another look.

Today when I was in the garden I noticed there was a lone wasp/bee in the same place so I will have to get on to the council tomorrow and arrange another visit

Me too, if a critic hates it I will probably love it and if they rave over it I know I won't like it
