Good morning everyone, some pale blue sky today but still chilly. In my little corner of the world we didn't get the warm sunny weather that most people did sadly. Further inland I know it was nice but right near the coast it was definitely chilly.

It's a beech tree and the record had previously been held by another beech tree in Gloucestershire at Lydney Park, near Lydney.
I hadn't known that this well known chef had grown up in Gloucester until recently when he mentioned on Food and Drink that he came from where they have cheese rolling.

Had a good day with PB. It's amazing the fun a 2 year old can have with a helium balloon on a string, and a tub of bubbles.
The weather has been sunny, if a little chilly.
Went to Morrisons to do the weekly grocery shopping and came home without the bag with all the dairy products. Mr Yogi phoned Morrisons who said a member of staff had picked up the bag and they would replace all the items with fresh items, if I wanted to go back with my receipt. to Morrisons for good customer service.

Good morning everyone, I do hope summer is not on hold moonie. It's quite nice with blue skies but I just wish for a little nudge in the temperatures.
I hope the pot moving goes well Yogi, sounds like a happy bubble blowing day with PB, I have many happy memories associated with blowing bubbles both with my daughter and my grandsons, something a little magical about it, especially on a summers day. That was good service from Morrisons

Whan I was in M&S I noticed a new dessert from them, New to them, not the dessert which goes back at least 1650. Taffety tart - almond based sponge topped with Bramley apple moouse with a lemon and blackcurrent centre.
Strictly in the interests of research I bought a box of 2 to try them so that I can report my findings back to you in due course.
M&S do seem to be introoducing quite a lot of traditional British food at present. I wonder if they will introduce some quince marmalade (the original marmalade was made from quinces, not oranges).
The Tafferty Tart dessert is very pleasant. It's a limited edition which suggests that it won't be in M&S shops for very long so if you want to try one and see it, best to get it soon.
(I don't know if it will be in all of M&S's food shops - I got mine from the one in the centre of Cheltenham which is one of their flagship stores)
That Tafferty Tart sounds nice EL, I wouldn't think it would be available in our small M & S though.
I wonder if they have zebra crossings in Belgium, as well as the mobile variety?

Mr Yogi intended washing the car today but he's a hing a bit from yesterday's power washing and is now considering taking the car to the car wash.
