Good afternoon everyone.    Sorry I've not been about.  I don't know where the days go.  I have not yet had the chance to watch Roman Holiday!!!

Glad to hear the bolier is fixed El Loro (fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong).  SO pleased to hear the toothache has gone Skylark.  There's no pain like toothache.

It's been a reasonable day here; better than I expected according to the forecast.  I just hope we don't get any really bad frosts which will put the daffodils back.

Thanks for the chinese Yogi, I have eaten my (small) meal but because of my digestion I tend not to eat after 5pm, it was all that talk of delicious home-made soup and chinese food that did it, but luckily once I am tucked up in bed I don't really think about food until breakfast I hope your family appreciates your efforts with the smoothing iron Yogi have a good soak Skylark, catch up again tomorrow, Joyron.

Good morning everyone. No rain ATM.
My dog is going to the groomers today, she is badly in need of a shampoo and trim.
It takes two and a half hours so I'm going to do the weekly shopping while she's being coiffeured. When she comes home afterwards, my hubby and sons will fuss over her, saying "Who's a beautiful girl? Don't you look soooo pretty, etc. etc. They never say that to me when I've been to the hairdressers.

Good morning everyone, Yogi you saying about the dog groomers reminded me of Timmy the Scotty dog we had when I was growing up.  He used to hate the dog groomers, he looked lovely when he came back but he used to scowl and he wasn't happy until he had rolled in something smelly. He was only a small dog but in his eyes he was a HUGE dog and quite definitely king of the neighbourhood   From the sound of it your dog likes it much better.

A bit rainy here but not too bad, quite mild.

Have a wonderful weekend with your sister Skylark.

He sounds just like our first retriever. We live near to a farm and she loved rolling in cow dung. There were always arguments about whose turn it was to bath her - "I did it last time!"   Thankfully, Keira doesn't share the love for smelly stuff.

Good afternoon everyone.    Sorry I've not been about.  Having a really busy week for some reason.  Travelling to hubby's aunt's funeral tomorrow so I won't be about much now until next week.

Hope you have a great time away with your sister Skylark.  Glad to hear the dog grooming didn't go too bad Yogi.

Love to all my lovely buddies.  Have a great weekend whatever you get up to.

Thank you for your good wishes Squiggle and Yogi.  Only about one and a half hour journey each way but we have to take three of Aunt Nell's friends with us so it will probably be rather a "funny" journey with them all chattering away in the back of the car!!

Not being at home tomorrow means I will have to try and catch up on everything over the weekend and we have company coming this weekend too!!

Is it a friend or relative's funeral you have to attend Squiggle?  Unfortunately the older we get the more funerals that happen.  Hubby keeps saying there will be no one left to attend our funerals.

Still cannot quote (very frustrating)  but you've got that just about right Yogi  .

It'sa sad time of year for me unfortunately.  It was 11 years ago yesterday since I lost my Dad and 14 years ago tomorrow since I lost my Mum.  Having a funeral to attend tomorrow will bring back lots of memories.  Still I will get through it as I always do.
