That's a relief, for a moment I thought that Skylark had turned cannibal . I have checked the forum rules and it does say that anyone who eats another forum member will be in breach of the rules and can expect to be scythed down by Lori our lady high executioner
Good afternoon everyone. Sorry I've not been about. I don't know where the days go. I have not yet had the chance to watch Roman Holiday!!!
Glad to hear the bolier is fixed El Loro (fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong). SO pleased to hear the toothache has gone Skylark. There's no pain like toothache.
It's been a reasonable day here; better than I expected according to the forecast. I just hope we don't get any really bad frosts which will put the daffodils back.

Squiggle, I'm leaving you some Chinese food, in case you're still hungry.
I need to go do some ironing, otherwise the clan will be going to work topless.
Speak to you all later.

PS Love to Joyron xxxx
Thanks for the chinese Yogi, I have eaten my (small) meal but because of my digestion I tend not to eat after 5pm, it was all that talk of delicious home-made soup and chinese food that did it, but luckily once I am tucked up in bed I don't really think about food until breakfast I hope your family appreciates your efforts with the smoothing iron Yogi have a good soak Skylark, catch up again tomorrow, Joyron.
Good morning everyone
We get everything here, forum cannibalism, topless clans, and baths and soup (though probably not bathing in soup)
Here, it be cloudy but dry at present and mild for February.

Good morning everyone. No rain ATM.
My dog is going to the groomers today, she is badly in need of a shampoo and trim.
It takes two and a half hours so I'm going to do the weekly shopping while she's being coiffeured. When she comes home afterwards, my hubby and sons will fuss over her, saying "Who's a beautiful girl? Don't you look soooo pretty, etc. etc. They never say that to me when I've been to the hairdressers.

Good morning everyone, Yogi you saying about the dog groomers reminded me of Timmy the Scotty dog we had when I was growing up. He used to hate the dog groomers, he looked lovely when he came back but he used to scowl and he wasn't happy until he had rolled in something smelly. He was only a small dog but in his eyes he was a HUGE dog and quite definitely king of the neighbourhood From the sound of it your dog likes it much better.
A bit rainy here but not too bad, quite mild.

Hi all xxx Just quickly popping in to say i am away up north with my sister for a couple of days, visiting relations. Its all been a bit spur of the moment, so rushing about mad. Have a lovely weekend. Byeeeeee
Have a wonderful weekend with your sister Skylark.

He sounds just like our first retriever. We live near to a farm and she loved rolling in cow dung. There were always arguments about whose turn it was to bath her - "I did it last time!" Thankfully, Keira doesn't share the love for smelly stuff.
Have a lovely time Skylark, hurry back
Keira wasn't very happy when we arrived at the groomers. I think she remembered her last visit, and decided she didn't fancy all that washing, drying and trimming business.
However, she was delighted to see me on my return and she does look very pretty.
Hubby can take her next time, I don't want to be the baddie again.

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry I've not been about. Having a really busy week for some reason. Travelling to hubby's aunt's funeral tomorrow so I won't be about much now until next week.
Hope you have a great time away with your sister Skylark. Glad to hear the dog grooming didn't go too bad Yogi.
Love to all my lovely buddies. Have a great weekend whatever you get up to.

Sorry to hear that Joyron. I hope everything goes as well as possible.
Me too Joyron, hope all goes well, do you have far to travel?
Thank you for your good wishes Squiggle and Yogi. Only about one and a half hour journey each way but we have to take three of Aunt Nell's friends with us so it will probably be rather a "funny" journey with them all chattering away in the back of the car!!
Not being at home tomorrow means I will have to try and catch up on everything over the weekend and we have company coming this weekend too!!
Is it a friend or relative's funeral you have to attend Squiggle? Unfortunately the older we get the more funerals that happen. Hubby keeps saying there will be no one left to attend our funerals.

I'm getting images of Nora Batty & Co from Last Of The Summer Wine.
Still cannot quote (very frustrating) but you've got that just about right Yogi .
It'sa sad time of year for me unfortunately. It was 11 years ago yesterday since I lost my Dad and 14 years ago tomorrow since I lost my Mum. Having a funeral to attend tomorrow will bring back lots of memories. Still I will get through it as I always do.

Joyron, my commiserations to your husband's family, and I hope the funeral is a fitting tribute.
(I suspect that squiggle's "Me too Joyron" was to agree with Yogi's "Sorry to hear that" rather than she has a funeral to go to as well, but I may be wrong)
