I'm working on that engagement letter which on the interesting scale of 1 to 10 scores a 1 It's one of those things which I have to do even though I doubt if any of my clients have any interest in it.

On a par with cleaning my oven.

I've just finished revising the engagement letter I have to issue to new clients. It's typically 11 pages long of woffle as laid down by my accountancy institute.

My shortened version is:

Dear Fred

I'll do your accounts and tax return as from the year to 5 April 2015. The responsibility for its accuracy remains with you. I'll bill you as agreed with payment due within 7 days. Let me know if you disagree with this.

Yours sincerely

El Loro

But my institute wouldn't let me get away with that

I've voted on my IPad, Squiggle.

I tried to be sneaky and vote again on my laptop, but it seems to know I've already voted.

Pie for votes? Count me in!

Evening all We had to catch a very cute lamb during our walk and return it to its it family, he had escaped through a gap in a fence and couldn't get back through. He was happy when we returned him, and so was his mama

El, I hope you've got your feet up now after drafting those letters

Yes I am taking a few days holiday from work, just for the sake of having some time out for myself

What have you been up to today, Moonie?

I think I caught a chill when I was out early this morning in the cold so most of the afternoon idling in bed

I hope you feel better in the morning. It's all too easy to catch a chill when the weather is so changeable.
