Me too

Thanks for the advice EL, sounds like that's what happened to me but I do notice they are deducting some from both small pensions.  Still obviously they need my small amount of money to keep them afloat so I suppose I shouldn't moan

Bad news about the fridge freezer moonie, perhaps it would be possible to replace the thermostat?  Faint hope I know but anything that keeps the cost down, it's just a question of finding a handy guy to do it.

*night owls* aaaaw an Olaf cake I'm glad all went well skylark, that's lovely

Moonie, that fridge must have been very strong to have lasted so long, it's the oldest I've ever heard of. Some of the new ones are quite reasonably priced these days, depending on your needs of course, but I know the basic ones are alright

Yogi I'm glad your power cut didn't last any longer, what a nuisance! Thank goodness you were able to get the Internet restored swiftly- I'd be breaking out in sweats without it lol

I can't believe how quickly Easter has come and gone!
I hope you're all sleeping soundly, sweet dreams

Yogi, I'm glad your internet connection got sorted out  Could be that the disruption meant that you needed to reset the superhub.

I think that's what happened, El.

Good morning everyone.

Weather is quite cloudy atm. If it stays dry, I hope to get some gardening done.

Have a good day everyone.

Squiggle, it's a form to complete if you want the dividend to be paid into your bank account rather than them sending you a cheque. You can opt for what they are calling DRIP where the dividend is used to buy more shares rather than getting the money. The dividend doesn't get paid until next month, The form arrived in the post this morning so you should get it very soon.

 What a cheek!

Moonie, my middle son amd DiL live in a flat and the wheelie bins are kept together. Some people were too lazy to put the stuff in the own bin/or their bin was full, and would put stuff in other people's bins. Son put a chain and padlock on his bin, and has done the same for two eldery neighbours, to stop the cheeky devils.

Don't spend it all at once, El.

Bloomin cheek moonie, it's not so good when they bag it and then hang it in trees either

I tried GaGa, Digitalspy and Amazon at the time you mentioned, and I couldn't access any of them, El.

I don't know what happened but it was clearly widespread. I think it may have affected us in the UK with many sites (but not all as I was able to get on to the BBC site, Google, and Youtube. Besides this site and Ebay looking at some Google results it seems that some of the major games sites such as Steam and Battle.net were affected.

I only tried the three I mentioned, then gave up.

No bad here.

Afternoon Velvet. All is well here.

That'll do me Yogi

Managed to get some weeding done today, but couldn't cut the grass as the lawn mower appears to be deid! Mr Yogi (not known for his electrical skills!) says he'll have a look at it.

I know the feeling Yogi. Not had the mower out yet but it's due an appearance. It's a petrol one and this time last year it wouldn't start either. After some fiddling and an oil overdose it kicked into action and ran all summer blowing out more smoke than the Flying Scotsman in her heyday

That would have been a sight to behold!

Evening friends the lack of network coverage continues,  while I'm at work. It was a very busy too.

Bramble and I have just enjoyed a lovely walk, it's very spring like today

Uh oh yogi! Maybe the mower is still in hibernation mode
Moonie, I'm glad your fridge has perked up a bit I would do as El suggested though and be keeping an eye out for a new one

Squiggle, I love a twinkly nights sky, what a treasure have you seen those igloo pods you can sleep in, in Finland? They have glass roofs so you can see the sky as you lay in bed!
~Sparkling Summer~

Evening Summer.

Do you have any idea when the EE problem will be sorted?

I think the lawnmower is off to lawnmower heaven.

I've never heard of igloo pods with glass rooves- I want one of those!

I got a message that I've nearly used up all of my free Icloud storage space, so I've spent ages trying to figure out how I can free up some space.

The thing which seems to be taking up most storage space is my photos, and as I upload them to my laptop, then put them onto a memory stick, it seems overkill to back them up in ICloud storage too. So why am I dithering about switching off the automatic backup for my photos?!
