We went out to another toyshop, looking for things for PB's birthday. Picked up a couple of things, so at least we've made a start. Then middle son and DiL came for tea.
Awwww PB will think her birthday is Christmas again
It was a good washing drying afternoon. A little breeze and a little sun
It's a blooming mightmare, trying to buy presents for the child who has everything!

As for the swans, that is the island in the small pool and every year two swans have their babies there. So I think the cleaning and guarding 'their' island maybe the prelude to egg laying, though I am no expert. I don't know if it is the same two swans however

Mr Yogi asked if I would go with him while he looked for a new laptop, then he'd take me for some lunch. Swedish meatballs in Ikea was not what I had in mind!

I loved the swan video and I would guess it is the same swans each year, Moonie. I have heard that swans usually mate for life.
We have two that stay in our village pond and raise signets every year. It's funny when they decide to take the signets for a walk through the village, and end up with lots of cars crawling along behind them.
