 Nothing so exciting!

I've been transferring photos from my iphone and ipad to my laptop, and then transferring them onto a memory stick.

I am having trouble transferring piccies from my iPad and Samsung Galaxy S4 to my laptop. Not a clue

I'll try to explain how I do it, Moonie. It's probably a bit convoluted but it works for me.

First, I open up the laptop, then link the ipad to the laptop, using the cable you use to recharge the ipad.

Go onto "Computer" on your laptop, (or wherever it shows devices attached to your laptop) and you should see "Moonie's ipad". If you open that you will see your photographs. Minimise it whilst you open up your photographs on your laptop.

Then go back to "Moonie's Ipad" on the laptop and copy the photos you want to transfer to the computer, then go back to your Photographs on the laptop and paste.

You can do the photos individually, but I do six or seven at a time, by holding down the Ctrl button on the lappy and highlighting the ones I want to copy.

If you have your photos on the Ipad in folders, you can just copy and paste the whole folder.

I hope that helps. (Said in a non Sainty way).

Not got a clue about the Samsung Galaxy, but I think it might be the same way.

I am glad your phone is working again Summer.  What a happy day that was with PB Yogi, that memory will never fade and you will be able to reminisce with her when she's older and see if she remembers the Easter Egg hunt.  I know my grandsons remember theirs.  It's those precious memories which we treasure.  I was sitting in the car with my grandson recently and an ad came on the radio for Paultons Park where we used to take them when they were littlies and we looked at each other and it all came flooding back, precious.  Good luck with the cake shopping I mean grocery shopping, watch out for falling cakes, such a darn nuisance.

Enjoy your day everyone

Sorry Squiggle, I mant to reply to this post earlier. I completely agree with the bit in bold.

I've had a hectic day at work and still no phone coverage while there, everyone on the same network has the same problem. Hopefully it won't be too long before it's fixed.

Happy easter weekend everyone and sweet dreams to all who are already tucked up in bed

Hi Sweet

I thought your phone coverage had been restored

I wondered where you was

Good Friday morning everyone

Wet and mirky weather here. Forecast to be dry but cloudy in my area for tomorrow and the next few days.

Those look good hot cross buns Summer. I wouldn't have gone for the other type of hot cross bun from M&S which you didn't get. Toffee fudge and Belgian chocolate hot cross buns seems inappropriate for Good Friday.

Tea and toast for me too later

Nite nite, sleep well and have sweet dreams Yogi

Not at all, Moonie!

Good morning everyone, very wet at the moment but set to dry up later.

You've got off to a bright start Summer, too early for Hot Cross Buns for me but I am looking forward to having some with my lunch.

That sounds a lovely outing Yogi I hope the lunch is good and the selection of plants very tempting.  I worked with a colleague once whose husband grew the most beautiful fuchsias you have ever seen, some with such huge flowers, very very beautiful.  I am always tempted by fuchsias.

I love hot cross buns (original ones)!

Middle son is taking me to the big garden centre today and we are having lunch too.

Have a good Good Friday, everyone.

Have a lovely time YogI

No chance of any cakes falling into the trolley from there then

I've got up and started my day on the yoga mat, and now feel ready for my hot cross buns it's a grey, rainy day here today so I think some baking is more appealing than an outdoor adventure

Cakes in the offing then Sweet?

Good morning everyone

Dull and overcast here but the overnight rain has finally stopped

may saunter down the road in a while. Don't need anything but as they say, the exercise will do me good

I am downloading an "updating package" for my mobile phone that has been in progress now for 50 minutes or so. Still only 75% done as yet

I think we have the same phone moonie, I haven't dared download the update as they said you can't go back and I'm a little nervous that it might muck things up, let me know if all is OK once it finishes downloading.

Hi El

It took an hour and some 40 minutes to download, install and optimise

I absolutely hate what they have done. Altered the colour scheme. Changed the layout. Altered just about everything it's possible to alter. Couldn't find anything where it was before. I hate hate hate it

Thanks El, I shall go have a look

I have just noticed too, when I turn on my phone an "EE" logo appears in the top left corner. That never happened before

That's why a lot of the backgrounds are in their cr*p colours I guess
