Hi El, now thats odd you saying that, because was thinking that myself about the easy peelers oranges. I dont like filling up kids with sugar and sweets. A few small Easter eggs, some fruit and pencils we bought the last time we were at the museum .

Afternoon everyone

The weather is still very windy but not as much so as yesterday. Still cold with the occasional shower through

Just had a phone call from a 'withheld' number which went along the lines of...this is so and so. We are calling you about your Windows computer. I replied that I didn't have a Windows computer and the line went dead

Scam methinks

Yogi, have a lovely bonnet making day with PB but hide the eggs

Skylark, I remembered really liked getting those satsumas as a youngster and as you say you don't want to have the children overdosing on sweets.

Moonie, yes, definitely a scam. I've posted before about getting those calls. I was at one of my clients when they got such a call and my client told them truthfully that they did not have any computers. The scammers ring lots of numbers at the same time and it's just chance it you happen to be the first person who answers. You may have noticed that there's always a brief silence before they start talking - that's because they need to identifiy which of the numbers they've rang has answered. Any claim they make that they've had reports about your computer is a lie - they have no such report.

El Loro

I think that's a great idea about easy peel oranges or satsumas Skylark.  I bet your granddaughter is excited, not long to go now.

It's really annoying when the scammers use the 'number withheld' call because you dare not answer it in case it's important.

Well done moonie, hopefully they've taken your number off their list now

You are right about silence El

Yep, I remember you saying about it. Like I said I don't have a computer with Windows on anyway

I only tend to answer withheld numbers Squiggle as other numbers come up on my phone display, so don't bother with them

Hope your day is going well

Moonie it's really frustrating, the guys have popped by to tell me they are going to start decorating the house tomorrow.  Now I have the leaflet about the special paint I want, Johnstones exterior paint which I have been told is suitable for my exposed seaside location, plus a paint chart with the right shade of blue on.  Now I've had these ready for months, can I find 'em?  Can I heck, looks like the gremlins may have been in - oh well Plan B go online and see if I can download something.

Thanks EL (and moonie) I tried that website and couldn't find the paint I wanted so I phoned the local Johnstones shop and he said to try the paint247 website, I don't know why it's not on the proper Johnstones site.  Anyway I have downloaded the info sheet so I'm all ready for them now I hope.

Hope you all had a good day, I'm getting foul looks off Bramble because I haven't shared my cheese with her (it's got chilli's in)

Evening Summer.

I gather your phone is working properly again.

lol Chilli cheese might not be a good idea for Bramble.

Methinks chilli wouldn't do Bramble much good either Sweet

Evening Moonie.

The hat turned out quite well, but it's more of a boater style than a bonnet.

We did an indoor Easter Egg Hunt and she went home with a basketful of little eggs, as well as a large rabbit soft toy and a bunny handbag.

I don't actually know if my eating cheese before bed was wise but I just love it

My phone was fine today, hopefully the problem is now resolved

How was PB?

And how was your day moonie?

Awww I'm sure she appreciated that cuddle

My day was good apart from a ÂĢ300 combined gas and electricity bill

Glad your mobile is sorted Sweet

lol I'm not sure that Bramble will consider a cuddle as a suitable replacement for cheese!

I love cheese too, but can only eat it when Crohns is behaving itself.

PB was great. She loved her rabbit toy and bunny handbag. She kept cuddling them and saying "Love it, so, so soft!".

She got stuck in to the Easter Egg Hunt and filled her little basket with small chocolate eggs.

As soon as she'd found all of them, she asked if she could eat one! Tbf, she only ate half of it and it was only the size of a chicken's egg.
