On 9 September 1947, the fiest ever case of a computer bug was reported. The Harvard Mark II computer at Harvard University at Massachusetts was experiencing problems, and a moth was found lodged in one of its relays. The computer was successfully "debugged" by removing the moth,

I've received an email this morning from the BFS Group which is a foodservice wholesaler and distributor.

They want me to expand my desserts menu and have suggestions on improving the range of food I offer over Easter. They also give advice on how I can improve my Food Hygiene Rating.

What clients would make of it if I started supplying meals to them

My Food Hygiene Rating has yet to be assessed and I'm awaiting a visit from the council's food safety officer

Squiggle, you've got quite a lot of work being done on your house and I hope it goes well. You've mentioned the two lads before and they seem good people

That looks delicious and I could really relish a very large slice just now - drool.  I thought I had mentioned the lads before EL but I did wonder if I had had a senior moment and not mentioned it at all

Too true!  We have much nastier bugs than a harmless moth nowadays.

Summer I cannot tell you how much I loved that drive home yesterday, I really do love an automatic gearbox, you can really enjoy the journey so much more. And the car is really beautiful ice blue metallic and of course so many new features, I am hoping to find out much more today, all I really did yesterday was drive it home and then after the scaffolders had gone home bring it down into the driveway outside the door so I can have a good look around it today.

Yogi I hope the coffee cake is delicious, fancy attacking you like that! Show it who's boss and munch it that's my advice   I am having the fascias replaced with pvc ones, the gutters replaced, a new roof on my little lean-to  utility room, which has been leaking and a new pvc front door.  I shall be glad when it's done but the lads who are doing it are absolutely a joy to be with, 2 young christian guys, beautiful sunny natures.  They are the ones who replaced the drawers in the kitchen just before Christmas.

Enjoy your day everyone

I hope you have lots of lovely journeys in your new car.

It was a particularly fierce coffee cake - total destruction was the only option open to me.

I'm sure the lads will make a good job of the guttering and other work. It's good to have people who are trustworthy and reliable to do the work.

I'll remember that should I ever need it.

I wonder if there's some database out there which has me being in the food business. I've just remembered that a year ago my car insurers had me down as a dietician:

Evening wow you have been busy bees today!

El, I loved that moth story

Squiggle, I'm so glad you're enjoying your new car, that's lovely I hope the weather let you get a real good look at it today.

Lovely to see skylark, Moonie & velvet pop in come back soon!

Good morning everyone

Very cloudy here and some rain is forecast. Quite windy but forecast to be wetter and windier tomorrow. My church has a Palm Sunday procession tomorrow. Normally we walk from the village hall to the church. It may need to be held in church instead. A pity as that means that those passing by don't see it.

Yogi, I hope you have a good day with PB

El Loro

Good morning everyone, it's horrible weather here too, gale force winds and driving rain, I plan to stay inside.

I hope you manage to have a great PB day Yogi despite the weather, mind you thinking back to my daughter at that age we loved the rain, wellies on, waterproof raincoat and souwester on and she was ready for all the puddles, every one had to be jumped in several times, took us ages to get anywhere

Such a shame about your Palm Sunday march EL, as you say it's a good witness to the neighbourhood.  We used to march after the service on Easter Day, Boys Brigade band ahead of us marvellous.  I remember one Easter Sunday when I wasn't up to marching, going through chemo, so our dear minister marched the whole church round and they all sang outside our house, bless 'em.

Enjoy your day everyone

Hi yogi, how was PB?
Are you watching Ant & Dec?

I'm waiting for an Indian takeaway to arrive

Hi Summer.

I haven't had a creme egg since they changed the chocolate.

I'm watching The Voice and will get Ant &Dec on catch up.

What have you ordered?

How was your day? What's the PB news?

 Stinky breath!

lol Is the can permanently stuck to the table now?

PB was on great form, she says she's Granny's Best Girl!

When Grandad asked if she was Grandad's Best Girl, she said "nup" and giggled. She really loves to wind up the men in the family.

Well, I thought it was going to be but my Saturday girl managed to pull it off (her boyfriend upset her) funny thing is, I keep forgetting to fix the thing that I bought the glue for

Definitely a tomboy! If she isn't being 'flown' around the room by her grandad and uncles, she is asking to be dangled by her ankles! And she loves Fireman Sam!! So much for me finally getting a pink one!

She does like her pram and dolls, so there is some hope.

lol I wonder what you needed the glue for?

Just a chip in the wall where someone crashed a pushchair into it, it's only small but needs some attention

What are you doing tomorrow? And how's the fish tank?

She giggles like mad, and watches herself when they 'fly' past the mirror on the wall.

We might be going out to a new toy shop that recently opened. We are looking for ideas for PB's birthday.

Fish tank has been fine .....until today. One of the fish has disappeared, presumed dead (although I can't find the body).
