How's kiera this week? Bramble slept at SIL's last night and is really sleepy now- they play with her loads when they have her

Haha, do they tire her out?

Keira is good thanks. We managed to have a nice walk today when the sun was shining.

Moonie, I hope you feel better soon

Squiggle, it's one of my favourite trees. Once the blossom comes out it looks like a smaller version of this one. I know I've posted the picture before but it is a good one. I wrongly described it as a hybrid, at some point in time one part would have been grafted on to the other.

The above tree is in Portchester.

On the BBC news at lunchtime they mentioned something about a personality survey carried out in England, Scotland and Wales. It was done online and there were not enough results from Northen Ireland to be included.

I wouldn't read much into the results as ithey are restricted to people who chose to do the survey rather than people being asked on a random basis.

Evening all I hope you've had a good day

Get well soon Moonie and come back swiftly!

I'm officially a sky engineer ok not quite, but I have just successfully installed our new box, all by myself

 Well done, Summer.

Good morning everyone, we seem to have had quite a bit of rain overnight but the forecast is dry today, it's just clouded over so I hope they're right.

I am well impressed Summer, I don't think I could have done that, I get so muddled as to what goes where.

Happy shopping Yogi, will there be cake involved?

Enjoy your day everyone

Squiggle, I find that with setting up things it's easier if you have space to set everything out and look at the instructions picturing in your mind as to what goes where and in what order before putting the pieces together. And do it when you have plenty of time so aren't rushing.

Yogi, I hope the snow doesn't inconvenience you when you go shopping.

Yes EL, I am just back, it was such a lovely relaxing drive coming back once I had got used to the slightly panicky feeling of 'I am coming up to a roundabout I should be doing something'

It's a bit of a nuisance at the moment as the scaffolders are here so I can't manoeuvre the car in the driveway as I would like but they should finish off today hopefully.  It's amazing how long it takes to erect scaffolding for a house, they've been working since yesterday afternoon.

Squiggle, you must be thrilled to have your car now. I hope it gives you plenty of hassle free motoring

Many years ago an ex-client of mine told me that he had been banned from driving due to being over the drink limite. He had come to a roundabout and drove round and round it many times before he was stopped by the police.

Scaffolding does seem to take quite some time to be put up. It's not a job which can be rushed as one small error can be catastrophic. I hope the work that you are having done to the house goes well

Yay, you have your new car! I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of driving it.

What's the scaffolding for, Squiggle?

*night owls* sorry to have just missed you yogi, sweet dreams
Aaaaaaw at PB

My mum has gone home now, we had a lovely week together

Squiggle I'm glad you have your new car are you happy with it?

El is right about his approach to following instructions, and I must say I was impressed with the colour coded leads & sockets which made the installation process a lot smoother.

I'm sad that Downton will end, but it's such a great show that it should end on a high and without stringing out longer than it should be. I'll look forward to crying over the final episodes

Leaving goodnighty hugs for moonie, skylark & velvet
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone, much more overcast this morning and a rainy weekend forecast sadly.

Summer I cannot tell you how much I loved that drive home yesterday, I really do love an automatic gearbox, you can really enjoy the journey so much more. And the car is really beautiful ice blue metallic and of course so many new features, I am hoping to find out much more today, all I really did yesterday was drive it home and then after the scaffolders had gone home bring it down into the driveway outside the door so I can have a good look around it today.

Yogi I hope the coffee cake is delicious, fancy attacking you like that! Show it who's boss and munch it that's my advice   I am having the fascias replaced with pvc ones, the gutters replaced, a new roof on my little lean-to  utility room, which has been leaking and a new pvc front door.  I shall be glad when it's done but the lads who are doing it are absolutely a joy to be with, 2 young christian guys, beautiful sunny natures.  They are the ones who replaced the drawers in the kitchen just before Christmas.

Enjoy your day everyone
