Apart from doing some housework in the morning and cooking the meals, I have had a fairly lazy day. I spent the afternoon, watching episodes of The 1940's House. Moonie, I also caught up with Victorian Train Murder.

Sounds like a good day Yogi. A little work and a little play

Did you enjoy the murder?

I'm watching Poldark.

I have The Two Ronnie's Sketchbook on at the mo Yogi

Is that the new Poldark version?

 I liked the Two Ronnies.

Yes, it's the new series. I wasn't sure whether to watch it, as the original series was so good and I've also read the books, but it isn't bad.

I think they are still funny now, even after all this time

Its unusual for remakes to be as good as the original, isn't it Yogi?

Good humour is timeless.

Yes, remakes are quite often rubbish but this one isn't too bad, and the actor who plays Ross Poldark is rather nice to look at.

What are you both up to this coming week?

Middle son's birthday tomorrow, so we'll be visiting him.

No other plans that I know of.

Happy Burfday Yogi's middle son, for tomorrow

Good morning everyone

Fairly sunny here at present but forecast to cloud over and rain by the evening.

It's been reported that there was a massive outbreak of swooning amongst the female population in this country including Yogi during last night's episode of Poldark. It's not yet known if it gets anywhere near the same level as 20 years ago during an adaptation of a Jane Austen novel
