She isn't even 2 yet, can you imagine what she'll be coming out with when she's 10!

She sure is a real smart cookie  

Her hair is getting long enough for it to swish about her neck, which she likes doing. Youngest son and his GF said she looked like someone out of a L'Oreal hair product advert and told her to say the catchphrase "Because I'm worth it". So she's been going about, swishing her hair and saying, "Worth it!".

Awwwww I love it 

I can just imagine her doing the 'swish' 

 She makes us laugh so much, she's a real cutie.

 

She certainly lights quite a few lives in your household as well as on here too Yogi

Cloud and hazy sunshine here at present, forecast to be a sunny afternoon.

 

On the news today was an item about a government IT scheme for farmers claiming grants being abandoned after technical problems for farmers trying to use it, and going back to paper forms.

My thought is that if a relatively straightforward IT scheme for farmers runs into problems, what hope if there for the proposed abolition of tax returns being replaced by those digital accounts and that being problem free. The system would be vastly more complicated and in terms of self employed people 15 times as many as farmers.

Yogi, here the hazy sunshine has meant that the eclipse has made the sky darker which has confused the birds thinking it's getting towards night time but as it was a 88% eclipse, nothing like the Faroe Islands which got total, I was watching that online.

 

Good morning everyone, a little misty this morning, and we have had a pollution warning - it seems to have blown in from Europe - but promising to be a lovely sunny day.  It was very eerie just now with the light, returning to normal now.

 

We had a farmer on Radio Devon this morning EL and he said he has been banging his head for the last few weeks trying to make sense of this software.  They have been told to go back to paper forms now.  I agree with you that the chances of them making this new tax return scheme working are minimal.

 

Sounds like a busy day Yogi I hope it goes well, and that Skylark's decorating is as well.

Squiggle, the air pollution is lessening today and is expected to have gone by tomorrow. It's high in towns and cities (level 8) but in rural areas it drops to 2.

 

I decided to cut my grass for the first time this year and was doing it during the early part of the eclipse in my area.

It didn't get very dark in my area so I can't say that I was cutting the grass by the light of the silvery moon

I saw the eclipse, it was brilliant because we had partial cloud, it allowed us to see the eclipse without experiencing the full force of the sun

Was clear here so saw around 80% of the eclipse. Didnt go very dark.

Decorating going not too badly, son doing a good job. House like a tip though! Got a slate grey for the living room walls. Sounds cold but its actually quite nice now, i wasnt sure! Need wallpaper for one wall, but leaving that just now till after GD,s birthday.
