Re a grey car. It depends on its greyness but how visible is it to other drivers in misty or poor weather conditions? That's something to consider.

Following on about my post some days ago about drivers getting fined for going over the bridge in Llanthony Road in Gloucester is this in the local paper yesterday.

Good morning everyone, like you we have rain forecast for later on EL.

 

You wouldn't see those road markings at night and I think that would be very confusing especially if you are unfamiliar with the area and in a state of confusion as to where to go to meet up with your friend so I feel a lot of sympathy for that guy.

What about that four year old girl who was warned by the police for riding her bike on the pavement El?

In my area I've seen many children cycle on pavements, and sometimes adults.

It wouldn't surprise me if the police officer who caught the girl was spoken to by his seniors and given a bit of a roasting but we'll never get to hear about that.

Bramble is very full of beans thank you, I'm just about to walk her and then finish her fur cut- she won't be happy about it

No, it did seem pointless unless the tape is incredibly strong.

 

Summer, the girl's father was with her amd there's no suggestion in the article that she was causing a problem.

She wasn't on her own Sweet. She was on her way to or back from school. She was with her dad. I hope that policeman stops every "adult" he comes across riding on the pavement too. Though I know that won't happen 

Its a pity he doesn't have anything better to do with his time that's all I can say 

 Just had the water rates come for 2015/2016 

Have been shocked to the core 

They have actually gone down nearly £1 per payment to last year 

Moonie, mine has come down by £4-20 for the year. The water regulator told the water companies to reduce their charges but the effect differs quite a lot over the country.

 

Mine has gone down about £2 per month, as Tesco says every little helps.

Going well for us then El and Squiggle?  

Sweet, further to our conversation earlier about Bramble and her trim after your walk. I saw a van when I was out with "Dial as Dog Wash" on it

I had to get mr summer to finish off bramble when he got home, my thumbs are really sore now- and I wore gloves!

That policeman really does need to find something better to do!
