Excellent! Did you order from AO.com?

All ready for the off Yogi, how long is the flight?  I have my doubts about Poldark, I loved the original and the clips I have seen have not impressed me I think I'll give it a miss.

The flight is approx 2hours 20mins to 2hours 30mins, according to hubby.

I know what you mean about the new Poldark, but I'll watch the first episode and then decide.

I have a recurring nightmare where I've always forgotten something crucial at an airport. If I don't catch you later have a great time      Squiggs, Sky, El and Sweet hope you're enjoying your weekend

Thanks Velvet. I always worry that I've forgotten something.

I had forgotten to put in the card with the travel insurance numbers, but I now have it.

I find the older I get I have to not double but triple check everything

That was after I left the keys in the front door so long ago     Thankfully the robbers took pity and left a nice new telly and stereo with a leg of lamb in the oven.

My memory is atrocious nowadays.

*night owls* another busy bee day here, and we ended up going for an impromptu tea after work with SIL & BIL- that's 4 times this week I've eaten out

Yogi I hope you have a wonderful trip and we'll all look forward to hearing about it when you return

Moonie I'm glad you've got a new washing machine, I'm guessing you'll have quite a few loads to put through once it's plugged in
Sunday's in our house are fresh towels day

Hi Sweet

Sorry you had such a busy day. Yep a mile high pile of washing

Moonie

Let's hope that Karl Marx settles down and enjoys his new home, I wonder whether many will turn out to meet him?

Well I'm out and back but not sure I am any further forward. We didn't have a test drive, as the general feeling was we were not that keen on the Alto.  We did like the Swift and also the Kia Picanto.  I could get finance to buy a new one but if I can get a good second-hand one that would suit me better.  I am not in a rush and can take my time.

It's been drizzling all day although we are promised a lovely day tomorrow.  I hope the weather has been better for you both EL and Summer.

Squiggle, it's helpful that you are not in a rush to get a car as you can look around to find one that you like. From a personal point of view I wouldn't go for a new one as about a quarter of the value is gone as soon as the car leaves the show room.

The weather here is dry, but very cloudy, and the wind is making it quite cold outside. As with you, tomorrow is forecast to be a much better day and springlike.

El Loro

Hi velvet, I have heard bad things about French cars though so I have not been looking at them.  Good tip about Autotrader.  I have a fear of buying from a private dealer, I want a firm with a good reputation.  It's a bit of a minefield, my grandsons are brilliant but of course I miss the wise judgement of my lovely hubby.

My grandson's friend is selling a very low mileage Astra which he was bought by his grandparents, I am sure you can believe that I am struggling with the fact that it's a grey one Summer How girly am I? I will have a good talk to myself it's a good price and if it's smart with a good service history I will try to be sensible.
