Do any of you remember me saying my washing machine was on its way out, about a year ago? Well it has limped along until today, but has finally given up! Ordered a new one which should arrive tomorrow.

Mr Yogi has disconnected the old washing machine and put it outside. Considering his previous DIY disasters, I better go and see if I can still use the sink and dishwasher, without flooding the kitchen!

Hubby has forgotten where he put the little cap last time we changed the washing machine, to cap off the inlet pipe. So I currently have no water downstairs, because we've had to turn it off, otherwise water would be pouring in through the pipe! I told you he was a disaster when it comes to anything DIY related.

Actually, we are now thinking it may not be hubby's fault and the plumber might have taken away the little cap to lock off the pipe, when we had the kitchen done.
