Good morning everyone

 

Cloudy here, mainly dry.

 

Summer, you are right, there's a solar eclipse on March 20. It won't be a total eclipse in the UK. They say 84% covered in London. The northern part of Scotland 94%. Maximum eclipse about 9.31 am.

I remember the last one which was in August 1999 though visibility in my area was poor due to cloud.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that you can look directly at the eclipsed sun without protecting your eyes. Even 6% of the sun being visible is enough to blind you.
