Looks as if the next series of New Tricks will be the last. Not surprising as the last of the original cast Dennis Waterman leaves after a couple of episodes.

Morning El.

New Tricks had a good long run, and I think it's probably the right time to end it.

 More than likely, El.

You could set up a jigsaw piece exchange website. People with either missing pieces or extra pieces could enter the details and when the pieces were found could then post them off to the other person.

On the other hand, just getting a replacement jigsaw might just possibly be less hassle

There is a piece of paper in the box, but I never read it!

I'll go have a look now.

Ooh I never knew that, I just thought you had to put up with it, what a great idea.  You know Yogi I have had the urge over the last few days to do a jigsaw and I haven't done one for years.  I know just the one I want to do, can I be bothered?  I'll have to have a ponder.

Very windy here but so far not as wet as yesterday.  Like moonie we had a bit of everything yesterday, sleet, large hail, small hail, thunder and lightning etc etc.

Enjoy your day everyone

That sounds like utter chaos

Chaos continues to follow me around; we decided to let a decorator friend paint our downstairs, we literally don't have the time, and he's decided to come earlier than planned so we had to clear out the furniture etc in a hurry last night!

How is everyone today?

Morning Sweet

Sounds a little chaotic to me. I hope you are back to normal very soon. Hate the smell of paint

I am ok if a little cold and I havent even been out yet

I hope you are well and have a quiet day at work

But not to quiet that you get bored

Moonie

I don't like the smell of paint either. Summer, I hope the chaos is over soon

Moonie, I hope you are able to warm up, not good for anyone to be cold indoors.

Just had a phone call from Tony Simpson from Bristol asking me about pofessional indemnity insurance. Nothing unusual about that. But as the phone number was withheld and he had an obvious accent from the Indian subcontinent I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down. Too many phone calls from so called Microsoft support people with that type of accent and always using English names makes me somewhat suspicious.

Hi El

i have to say I had not been up that long so that's why I was cold

Okay now though ta. Shopping to come after lunch.

Re your Microsoft phone call. As I don't have Microsoft on my laptop now I just tell any caller who happens to ring exactly that

i realise some people like and may have to have it but I am pleased to say I don't

 I'll opt for the latter.

I'm enjoying doing my jigsaw (even though I know the piece is missing.

I treat it like I do crosswords, and leave it alone for a while when I get stuck, then go back to it later. I don't have PB until Saturday, so I can leave it on the dining table, with no rush to finish it.

Wow, that was quick!

I once had a parcel delivered from Amazon, half an hour before I got the email to say it had been dispatched.

No, the puzzle was brand new and unsealed before I opened it yesterday, so I can't blame PB.

I never though it was PB

To nice a little sweetie for that

And thereby hangs a mystery, if the puzzle was brand new, unsealed and with one piece missing and 2 pieces from another jigsaw included my mind is working overtime as to what went on in the jigsaw factory, fisticuffs and chaos is my theory

Moonie I hope you manage to get warmer, I believe the weather is due to warm up, not before time I say.

El, I'm always suspicious of the withheld numbers, especially when the caller has a very distinct Asian accent but tries to tell me their name is David or John.

Seems to be popular names to use, those
