I started a new jigsaw puzzle yesterday. I haven't done one for ages. I think there is a piece missing (outside edge) and there appear to be two extra pieces which aren't from this puzzle.

It's a Gibson jigsaw - if I send off five pieces of the puzzle with some info, they will send a replacement.
Yogi, I hope it doesn't take too long to get the replacement jigsaw. There must be someone else with a jigsaw with the piece from your one and missing the two pices you have.

You could set up a jigsaw piece exchange website. People with either missing pieces or extra pieces could enter the details and when the pieces were found could then post them off to the other person.
On the other hand, just getting a replacement jigsaw might just possibly be less hassle

Just had a phone call from Tony Simpson from Bristol asking me about pofessional indemnity insurance. Nothing unusual about that. But as the phone number was withheld and he had an obvious accent from the Indian subcontinent I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down. Too many phone calls from so called Microsoft support people with that type of accent and always using English names makes me somewhat suspicious.

I'm enjoying doing my jigsaw (even though I know the piece is missing.
I treat it like I do crosswords, and leave it alone for a while when I get stuck, then go back to it later. I don't have PB until Saturday, so I can leave it on the dining table, with no rush to finish it.

You may have seen this news story about an eagle owl leaving a town in fear after dive-bombing on locals. (Wotton-under-Edge is about 25 miles to the south of Gloucester).

Now read an article in the Dursley Gazette which is a local news site covering Dursley and Wotton-under-Edge.
I hope the hysteria doesn't lead to harm for this wonderful bird EL. I used to see an eagle owl over the other side of the valley about 4 years ago, quite regularly, just sitting in the trees in broad daylight. I could see him quite clearly through binoculars, they are beautiful birds.
