EL =  choir performed at a major art exhibition at the uni based on Christ - it was on S4C exhibition not the choir although we were on for a few milliminutes=it was mainly abstract paintings  painted by famous  peeps borrowed from Cambridge uni I think and although very clever and moving -  like you I prefer art as art

Squiggle, I've just been delivering the church magazines for March for my round. I can confirm that it's very cold out there because of the wind. No sleet but it's quite possible.

You would love it, Claudia is very good in it, she jokes with all the sewers and the two experts May and Patrick.  It is really compulsive viewing and you are so sad when anyone has to leave.  I really recommend it.

 

Hi Skylark, I am glad you had a nice weekend.  I am not usually a fan of Claudia but on Sewing Bee I think she is great.  I used to do a lot of sewing and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am amazed how many things they tackle that I have done in my time.

Years ago when I was the treasurer of the local church I created an Excel spreadsheet for doing the church accounts. It used Visual Basic quite a lot. There was a simple menu to select enter bankings, enter payments, enter journals, view which nominal account to look at, and a trial balance. So a bit of a mini accounts program rather than just a spreadsheet. I used it for the rest of the time I was treasurer, and my successors took it over and it's still used.

The present treasurer asked me if I could do a bit of amendment to the spreadsheet. So I've been working on that this afternoon. I think I've done it and sent my revised spreadsheet to her to do a spot of testing.

Although the amendment wasn't much, it's 17 years since I created the spreadsheet and trying to work out what the Visual Basic coding does 17 years later isn't easy.
