*night owls* sorry to have missed you all- work has been hectic and we're short staffed due to illnesses! I've got tomorrow off to make up for working wednesday

Hope that rain dries up soon squiggle, it would be nice for the sun to come out for you

PB is so funny and sharp, I think there won't be much that gets passed her

Skylark I hope you enjoyed your time out from GD and had a good catch up with your sister

El, will the roadworks disrupt your region for long? D

Leaving goodnight hugs for all
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone

Forecast to be brighter and drier here than yesterday.

Summer, I hope you have a relaxed day to make up for the hectic week.

The resurfacing work on the bypass takes place at night so I'm not expecting disruption myself. For those who want to avoid it at nighttime there are alternative routes which would add some time to the journey but not a lot.

El Loro

Good morning everyone.

No change in the weather, still grey and raining.

Ros and Summer, so sorry to have missed you. I was really tired last night, but I slept like a log and feel better for it.

Enjoy your day off and I hope you get a chance to relax, Summer.

No plans for today, so I'll pop in later. Have a good day everyone.

Edit: we must have been typing at the same time, good morning El.

Good morning everyone, I'm glad you had such a good sleep Yogi it makes all the difference in the world.  Somehow it doesn't feel right to be hearing about snow, hard to believe it's still February I feel it's much later somehow.

Yay a lovely day off Summer, I hope you enjoy it, I wonder if Bramble will miss the house guest too.

One of the not so nice things about living in the country, I took the car through the car wash on Wednesday but there was huge amounts of mud on the road coming back from some tractor, they are supposed to clean up behind themselves so by the time I got home the mud flaps were caked in mud.  So I'm going to try to turn the hose on the underside of the car as it's nice and dry today.  I know they're called mud flaps but I like mine nice and clean

Enjoy your day everyone

Crikey yogi snow?! I wasn't expecting you to say that this morning! I hope it melts as it lands

Has Bramble enjoyed having her little friend to stay?

The snow didn't lie, thank goodness!

Squiggle, I'm sure the joy of living in such a beautiful, rural setting is compensation for the muddy mud flaps.

It didn't feel like it an hour and a half ago Yogi, but I do love it.  I kid you not there was a pound of mud in total on all the mud flaps   And I was having trouble with getting the hose attachment to stay on, the water pressure kept forcing it off so I was backwards and forwards to the tap and of course I ended up soaked to the skin But the car is restored just the way I like it now, so worth all the slog in the end.

 Everyone
Didnt get back on yesterday, got my head in a book and that was that till Emmerdale, then i was shouting at the telly. That Andy rattles my cage

No snow here, thank goodness, we been lucky this year, although it would have been nice for a little to please Granddaughter
El, i am hopeless doing links as you know. Would you please be so kind as to post pics that may be on the BBC website. I only caught a bit of the news this morning but viewers had sent in pics of Aurora (i think it was) lights that were seen over parts of the country yesterday. The pics were amazing and would like others to see them, if they havent already. Thank you very much xx
Hope you having a lovely day off Summer, and you all having a nice afternoon x

Hi skylark hope you've had a good half term

Squiggle, that's so frustrating! And what a lot of mud my car was only clean 2 days before the road muck made it look like it had never been washed

Mr Yogi had his washed in the local carwash last Sunday, but by Monday night it was filthy again.

adore the northern lights - we were up in Northumberland in the summer and they saw them there last night - bet it was spectacular -I look for the ISS space station coming over most nights-we had some aurora activity  here in Wales in  September it was like  very bright beams in the sky with dancing tails of light -wonderful

night  again
